Can't you just use the very first part where he says "it's been aaaages" after getting off the bus? Then at least Ben's comments will make sense again.
Peter having not seen this or nearly any other children's movie is the final bit of evidence that I need that he's an Agatha Christie character who inhabited the body of a very small English boy.
kids movies in the 2000's were pretty much guaranteed to have a tie in game for every single console at the time. they pretty much all suck, but that never stopped thq and ubisoft lol
Such a throwback! My dad bought me the Xbox version when he came home from work. I literally beat the entire game that night and gave it back to him the next morning saying that I'd beaten it. He didn't believe me, and I showed him my save file. He felt so ripped off lol
I had the GameCube version. And I distinctly remember being a little scared of the segment where you have to escape the shack, remembering it as this long sneaking sequence, even though it's super short in actuality.
I guess your brain tends to be funny at remembering things that scared you poorly. I think it's called 'trauma black boxing' or something like that, I'm no neurologist or psychologist though so take that with a pinch of salt.
This unlocked a repressed childhood memory I have of seeing the movie in my soccer teammate's parent's dingy garage and being very afraid of the uncannily awful animation, so thanks!
Hey Ben you read in Portuguese pretty good, most people say "ch" as a "k" word but you said it correctly! Always awesome to see other people speaking Portuguese :D I'm Brazilian BTW :p
Just a little head-up to Ben & Peter's early comment that Wii's controller should've been called Wiimotes...IIRC, Nintendo originally wanted to call them that, but they couldn't, as another company Fobis technology had already trademarked that name for a completely different, non-videogame related product. it was called the "Wee-mote", and it was a TV remote control designed to be used by children. So after receiving over a 100 C&D letters from Fobis, Nintendo decided instead to simply change the name to something a bit more generic, instead of paying to license the name from Fobis and/or dealing with any potential court cases both of which would've cost Nintendo a significant amount of money. But in the end, it didn't really matter, because despite the name change, nearly everyone took to calling them Wiimotes any way and the name just stuck.
You really need to do a 2nd part because you basically just did the tutorial. This game isn't amazing but it gets waaayyy better than what you've played so far when you get to start scaring off hunters, which you would have gotten to do if you just played for another 5-10 minutes
I remember watching open season when I was younger it wasn't great. But for some reason it spawned a lot of sequels though. Edit: That teddy bear is terrifying 😱
All I remember about this movie is that Paul Westerberg put together an amazing soundtrack. I still listen to Love You In The Fall a couple times a year
This episode was gold! The boys had way too much fun watching this bland of weird/worst game ever. The Doom medley almost made me crack it up on laugh. lmao
I find it funny that the food images look like UK products “crisps” vs “chips”, Heinz bean label I’ve only seen in commonwealth countries, when it’s supposed to be set in the states
29:33 That IS NOT a; ""RABBIT"" THAT is a HARE! H - A - R - E, hare! A Gray Hare to be more specific. Just like BUGS is a GRAY HARE and NETHER a Bunny NOR a Rabbit. See also: March Hare.
I must have thought this was good as I ended up completing this on the Xbox 360. Similar in style to Ice Age 2: The Meltdown 2006 Video game and my favorite style of games to play.
The Wii had some great games but boy do I _not_ miss those motion controls. It always seemed like games were either really good or really bad; there wasn't much middle ground with the Wii remote.
I played the PS2 version of this game and the controllers were just as bad as the wee ones it looks like this was a tire some game to get through by the time I got to the end of it I wanted to throw it out the window
“It was sort of a joke that got out of hand” is the same justification I’ve given for spending an entire long weekend watching every movie in the Marine and 12 Rounds franchises.
I could agree this game is a steaming pile of crap why because out of all the movie games and we got In the mid 2000s or the late 2000s This one’s the worst why because first of all this game came out in 2006 not a bad year for gaming we got some really good games like Wii sports and new super Mario Bros But this game is so unoriginal
Anyone else remember watching Little Bear on Nick Jr. ? Ever since then I’ve always thought bears were cute. However, i this this game is sitting at a 2/10 stars ⭐️ Love guys!(Mostly Ben😍😘😍😘)
I own the PS2 version of this game. Played it many times when I was a kid. Had a lot of fun scaring the crap out of hunters in all sorts of different ways. No idea if that version still holds up. I honestly had quite a lot of tie-in games for movies that I had never seen. Might have been a result of my ADHD and wanting to be more involved in my hobbies.
So wait, we’re just gonna coast by the reason Ben watched all 3 of these movies recently for a joke? I’ll never sleep well again wondering why? Why Ben, why? For the love of god tell us!
Sony claimed the clip of Roger the cat. It has been trimmed out. Everything is ruined. (watch here: ua-cam.com/video/qnm6uynPYnY/v-deo.html)
Thank you for adding a link!
Can't you just use the very first part where he says "it's been aaaages" after getting off the bus? Then at least Ben's comments will make sense again.
Sony is the villain.
Sigh
Peter having not seen this or nearly any other children's movie is the final bit of evidence that I need that he's an Agatha Christie character who inhabited the body of a very small English boy.
Ben's encyclopaedic knowledge of the _Open Season_ cinematic universe is honestly the highlight of this video
The bear Boog his name Boog 3:00
Google
Boogle
29:27 Cross-hare. Get it? Cross-HARE, cuz its a rabbit?! I'll see myself out...
kids movies in the 2000's were pretty much guaranteed to have a tie in game for every single console at the time. they pretty much all suck, but that never stopped thq and ubisoft lol
Peter looked so proud of Petoog, waiting for Ben to look up from the box
"it was sort of a joke that got out of hand" is how I saw most of the bad movies I've seen, so I know what Ben means.
i’m astonished at how many beloved games from my childhood end up on worst games ever.
Such a throwback! My dad bought me the Xbox version when he came home from work. I literally beat the entire game that night and gave it back to him the next morning saying that I'd beaten it. He didn't believe me, and I showed him my save file. He felt so ripped off lol
The usual response to anything Open Season.
My mom did the same with sonic 3. Beat it the same day I got it
@@fromthegamethrone At least Sonic 3 is a good game.
How fitting that DOOM music is used when Peter was holding the terrified rabbit XD
The editing is amazing on this show
Main thing I loved about this game was that you can throw Elliott anywhere and he’ll always manage to return, no matter what.
I remember the cats from the sequel 8:50
I had the GameCube version.
And I distinctly remember being a little scared of the segment where you have to escape the shack, remembering it as this long sneaking sequence, even though it's super short in actuality.

Polish title is also nice. It's "Sezon na misia" which you can translate to "Bear Season" or literally "Season for bear"

Literally had no idea they weren’t officially called Wiimotes! Everyone called them that; TIL - thanks!
I always called them Wiimotes shortly after getting my Wii many years ago.
Oh my god a game I actually played as a child! Time to unrepress those memories!

They only have a limited time for each game they play
I remember watching open season when I was younger it wasn't great. But for some reason it spawned a lot of sequels though. Edit: That teddy bear is terrifying 😱
All I remember about this movie is that Paul Westerberg put together an amazing soundtrack. I still listen to Love You In The Fall a couple times a year
29:30 So we finally solved the mystery what "BFG" stands for:
"Bunny Freaking Gun"
I genuinely look forward to these before the unpredictable week begins.
The Doom music when shooting the rabbits made me laugh way more than it should've
This episode was gold!
The boys had way too much fun watching this bland of weird/worst game ever.
The Doom medley almost made me crack it up on laugh. lmao
I've never seen footage of the Open Season video game before, so I am going to give this everything I have got!
Sony Pictures Animation: When mom says “we have Dreamworks at home.”
I find it funny that the food images look like UK products “crisps” vs “chips”, Heinz bean label I’ve only seen in commonwealth countries, when it’s supposed to be set in the states
I used play that game all the time growing up ⬆️
Jesus Christ I faintly remember that one like a fever dream.
My idea of a kid's movie is Teenage Mutant Ninja(Hero If you want to get British about this) Turtles(1990) and TMMT II Secret Of The Ooze (1991)
The guy doing McSquizzy sounds like Mike Myer's Shrek to a T :O
Emma should of been a guest in this episode about a game featuring a bear. Maybe next time.
Emma?
@@blakeandersonECW420 Emma the Bear. Their big, huggable brown bear.
The second film shpuld have been called Open Season 2: Electric Boog-aloo....
Yes, I am seeing myself out now...
I love this game only for the fact that its the first game I beat in less than 3 hrs.
Man, that Christmas was great...
It is called Karvakamut in Finnish which means Furry Friends...
Watching all the Open Season movies in that quick session seems like a bad idea.
James, can you please edit Boog into the whole Uncharted 4 jeep chase sequence please?
Good luck trying to sleep at night or In the afternoon!

I remember buying this from a bargain bin at Blockbuster
i got PC version on new 2008 year, don't remember it at all
The temptation to write Penigoos and watch the reaction while you're on the i...
Why do all these games seem like Creepypastas?
Wasn't Peter Dinkelman in Game of Thrones?
What's a brother gotta do to get a "Triple Jump" shirt written in katakana?
It was in the shop a while back but if it’s not there anymore I think it’s gone for good 😭

Such Filth Mr. Potter...
What's this about Patrick Warburton baking?
I was literally just playing this game a couple of hours ago lol
Awesome. Just woke up after my afternoon old man nap. Great timing.
We had this one on the Play Station 2
The Wii had some great games but boy do I _not_ miss those motion controls. It always seemed like games were either really good or really bad; there wasn't much middle ground with the Wii remote.
Oh boy, Wii nunchucks + Movie tie in + Ubisoft = Very not good. I never even heard of this movie. Garbage times three just equals more garbage.
Never been so happy to see 2 men
Kinky
Reminds me of my last spit roast *sigh*
ah ben sharing knowledge about the best movie named open season about talking animals ever made.
I played the PS2 version of this game and the controllers were just as bad as the wee ones it looks like this was a tire some game to get through by the time I got to the end of it I wanted to throw it out the window
I had a real soft spot for the film as a kid
Bruh that came out of nowhere and I was literally about to buy the Xbox 360 version LMAO
I need to know more about how Ben has watched all the open season films 😂😂
i actually loved this game as a kid 💀
You absolutely love to see it!
Finally....just throw elliot against the tree 😮💨 . That took a long time 😆
Videos don’t exist anymore?
i remember loving the ps2 version but granted I was like 5
Same
“It was sort of a joke that got out of hand” is the same justification I’ve given for spending an entire long weekend watching every movie in the Marine and 12 Rounds franchises.
This looks oddly fun and cozy
I had the DS version of this game and it's even worse
Oooo I remember the movie. Looks fun😜
I googled Roger fantastic.
where is sonic games ranking bro ?
It's Not The Worst Game, Just Worst Than Most
Finally, another episode of my favourite internet video game related show: Shit Games for Wankers
I beat the PS2 version of this

You should play wiffle ball for the DS
Peter... 😊🙈
Jumper the movie video game
why does it say crisps when it’s american?
The only thing I remember about this movie is that one of the deer had disturbingly well defined human asscheeks.
Ben the teenager pointing out things to Peter Dad, comedy at its peak
A minor brazillian intervention: O Bicho Vai Pegar = Shit is gonna go down
i remember my local mcdonald's swapped pokemon xd for this game and my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined
Anyone else remember watching Little Bear on Nick Jr. ? Ever since then I’ve always thought bears were cute. However, i this this game is sitting at a 2/10 stars ⭐️

Can you please play the Bee Movie game for the Wii on worst games ever.
I think they covered it already.
