Even Hiccup did not respect him either, know what a jerk Snotlout his. As for the twins, they were idiots. Case closed. Hiccup knew they were idiots and Astrid knew as well. And sometimes they also got on her nerves, like when one time she was asked to supervise them in their work and she basically did their work for them whiles they were screwing her efforts over until she lashed out at them. Considering how much of screwheads they were, did you really expect Astrid to take them any serious? Even Hiccup did not take them seriously. Only Fishlegs is the sensible person among him, the twins and Snotlout. And Astrid had no problem with him.
What you said about Eret trying to hide Hiccup's existence from Drago (11:18) really hit me hard. Eret was trying to *save* Hiccup's life! Eret knew - at least partially - what Drago was capable of, and didn't want Hiccup to suffer by Drago's hand.
I would switch Stoick and Hiccup and my argument for that is mostly seen in Race to the Edge and it's Hiccup's extreme compassion and ability to forgive. He takes whatever means necessary to avoid hurting dragons and is quickly forgiving or at least still cares somewhat about the wellbeing of his enemies. What I mean by that last part is, in the season 4 finale, Viggo is pretty much constantly getting on Hiccup's nerves and in the end, Viggo threatens to kill Astrid if Hiccup doesn't give him the Dragon Eye. When Hiccup throws it into a nearby volcano, Viggo ends up falling in as well, and yet after having the girl he loving being threatened literally seconds before, Hiccup throws all that aside and still tries to save Viggo from falling in. On his ability to forgive, in the premiere of season 3, Dagur redeems himself and tries to help Hiccup and Toothless after they were shot down and trapped on an island. Hiccup doesn't trust Dagur at first, but he eventually does when Toothless lets Dagur ride him to save Hiccup. Later on in the season, when the secret gets out to the other riders, for most of the episode, Hiccup is the only one that defends Dagur when the others accuse him of being a spy. Finally, in the season 6 episode, Triple Cross, Viggo, who survived his fall into the volcano, tricks Hiccup into helping him get revenge on Krogan and Johann who had recently tried to kill him. The whole episode is a back and forth game on whether or not Viggo has really changed. In the end, Hiccup is sure that Viggo double crossed him and starts getting a little hostile toward him, but as soon as he sees that Viggo has four arrows lodged in his back, again, he forgets everything and immediately rushes to help him. He even refuses to leave him when Viggo tells him that he'd stay behind and cover Hiccup's escape. Needless to say, Viggo put Hiccup through a lot and if there was one person Hiccup ever really hated, it was Viggo. Earlier in that episode, Hiccup even rushes at Viggo with his fire sword with the intent to kill. It's not until Viggo pulls out his own flaming sword that Hiccup even knows Viggo can defend himself. And he still went and swung at him. They have a short fight and the whole time, Hiccup is the only one attacking. And yet when Viggo was injured and dying, Hiccup immediately forgot about everything that had happened between them and tried to help him. There's actually two really good stories on Fanfiction.net that go into an alternate timeline where Viggo survives and joins the riders. It's very well written and all the riders feel exactly like they do in the films and shows. The first one is called Sanctuary and the second one is called How Times Change

When I first watched Triple Cross, I was so sad when Viggo died. Although he may have been a hard villain to beat throughout the series, he changed and started accepting dragons as equals. I wish he could join the riders, but sadly, it did not correspond with HTTYD 2.
I disagree with the placement of these two characters Astrid is one of the most bravest character one the show creating the A Team to protect Berk Heather didn’t betray her friends she was acting as a double agent & she did everything in her power to look after a baby Death Song
@@BruhTNT4258 what they do with him I think it's little... he bullied hiccup for a long time and even after the Dragons continued, he constantly harasses astrid
Toothless is also very merciful and kind just like his rider. A scene I love very much is when he is forced to fight the Triple Stryke and kill it, he saw the other dragon surrender and give in under his killing leap. The expression on Toothless's face when he stops mid-pounce made me think: It must of reminded him of when he was downed by Hiccup in the first film, and Hiccup showed mercy. Toothless doesn't take down the Triple Stryke, rather he tames it in his own way and then they both fight against the dragon hunters. Another scene of kindness is when Hiccup is taken by bounty hunters, after Savage provokes Stoick and the chief raises his axe. Toothless leaps over Savage and stares at Stoick, urging him not to do it. There are many other scenes with injured, captured, or simply sad dragons, and Toothless refuses to leave them. Just the way Toothless cares about his follow dragons, and the way he is taught to never kill by Hiccup, I find so moving.
Your forgetting Toothless just flat out mercilessly murdered Grimmel's drug controlled Deathgrippers by electrocuting them instead of actually trying to break off the venom device things controlling them. Oh and your also forgetting Toothless was willing to make all the dragons surrender to the enemy just so his precious girlfriend that he barely knows won't get hurt. Toothless was just a dick in the 3rd film.
@@robonaught Oh yeah, the third movie. Thanks for bringing that up, I forgot. Excluding the third movie, Toothless cares about other dragons a lot, especially in the series. Not in HTTYD 3 because "saw girl must bang" Ugh, it just irks me that Toothless left just because he wanted to be with a girl. Come on!
Wait.......where the hell's Krogan HE HAS SO MUCH- I need to calm down but seriously Krogan has every right to be on that list like he killed a dragon hunter because he didn't like the way Krogan is hunting and look what they did to Garff and his.....foster parent... yeah and and ANNNDD he tries to kill Viggo behind his back and him and his dragon hunters almost kill Stoick as well and almost takes over Berk so yeah Alright I don't need to get mad over just 1 missing bad guy Also his voice is awesome
Wouldn't the most evil be the queen dragon in the first film? It had no problem with eating other living dragons, makes other dragons worship and feed it using fear, tried to kill hundreds of vikings at the dragon's nest while destroying their ships in the process, and even nearly kills both Hiccup and Toothless.
Also the Red Death kinda proves that not all dragons are kind and just want to terrorize and cause death and destruction with no human control attached. Which is something that totally bothered me in the 2nd movie. Drago talked about that dragons destroyed his village, killed his loved ones and ripped off his arm as a child. We don't know why dragons attacked his village or what sort of dragons they were so they could have been attacking villages for the thrill of it or maybe worse have a taste for human flesh. But Hiccup seemed to forget about the Red Death saying that all dragons are kind and just brushes off about Drago saying dragons massacred his village. Made even more annoying is that Drago's side of the story is never discussed or brought up again. In the end Drago did have a point about that some dragons just live to kill and tear people apart and unlike Hiccup was probably never given a sign or chance that not all of them are like the ones who destroyed his village. Seriously I can't get over how Hiccup just doesn't care about that he just got told about there was a village that had it even worse then Berk to the level it wasn't so lucky and was flat out destroyed and burned to the ground.
@@chadpeterson5698 If she really was trying to survive why did she spend all that time cooped up in her nest being a tyrant to her subjects by making them bring food for her or she'll flat out eat them when she could just leave the nest and find food for herself? We can see she was perfectly capable of flying so it's not like she can't fly and hunt for herself Even the white Bewilderbeast a dragon species that is not capable of flying left it's own nest to feed itself and it's subjects and it was probably doing that even BEFORE having human contact with Valka. So even the darn Alpha species of dragons knows being a loving leader is better then being a tyrannical leader to survive. Red Death was selfish and only cared about herself, Bewilderbeast cared about the safety and survival of it's subjects. Even Drago's Bewilderbeast is less evil then the Red Death since it was raised and abused by Drago and doesn't know how to behave like a natural Bewilderbeast should. Red Deaths are just evil and cruel by nature. Even in the games it's revealed to have a far more gentle and peaceful cousin species called Green Death (not anything to do with the Green Death from the original books) that actually doesn't force other dragons to bring food for it and actually hunts for itself.
@@robonaught natural instinct when it comes to animals is not evil that's like saying tigers going after humans out of fear or out of necessity is evil. besides the Red Death was probably doing what she did to avoid people like Drago and Grimmel after all we all know that both of these villains have been doing evil stuff before so much as Valka getting taken to the Bewilderbeast which also explains why she acted so violently to the vikings and dragon riders. also in nature it's kill or be killed and as a result you would have to go to unspeakable lengths to survive so as a result the Red Death's actions are understandable
in my opinion she would be in the grey area since she's just an animal following instinct sure she would be on the darker side since she did hold control over the dragons however she was only doing that so she would survive since survival is the ultimate goal for every animal that's not Scar or similar to him.
@@chadpeterson5698 I'd say she would barely be on the evil side, because of what you said and because she actually ate the dragons that didn't bring her enough food. This means that the red death only cares about her survival and not the survival of her "servants"
@@KristapsK1 then again just about all wild animals only care about themselves and won't hesitate to kill if it means they get to survive one thing is for sure though she's not actually "evil" since she has no moral agency and as a result doesn't understand the concept and as a result she's nowhere near as evil as the human villains like Drago or Grimmel.

Idc how evil she might be or become, Heather shall always be my favorite character. Let’s also not forget Astrid is good because she stopped an arrow with her leg from hitting stormfly.
Drago would be slightly lower on the evil side if only they just didn't scrap his redemption from the Hidden World. Oh well i'm still glad my dreadlocked boy isn't the most evil character on the list. At least he has an actual reason and excuse for his motivations (unlike Grimmel) seriously seeing your whole village die, your way of life destroyed, your loved ones killed that you are left with nothing and having your arm ripped off all before your eyes as a child would have been horrible and traumatizing for him. There's no way he would have grown up normal after the horror he witnessed. Nobody ever talks about that Drago very likely has PTSD.

Also he doesn't even have a motivation for his actions other then he killed a Night Fury it made him a hero in his village so he decided to kill every last one for fame and glory. Did I mention he also considers dragons as an inferior species so he clearly supports Anthropocentrism (human supremacy) for no good reason? Unlike Drago who at least has a sympathetic and tragic background with seeing his entire village burn and die when he was just an innocent child so you understand a little of where Drago's motivations come from.
@@grantoliver157 If some of his village survived too he probably would have grown up much different. Him saying he was left with nothing sounds like everybody in his village was killed and he was the only survivor. Drago is basically Hiccup if his life was much worse, had no roof over his head, nobody to look after him and set his moral compass straight and was forced to grow up fast. I think all Drago sadly knows in life was violence, survival, fear, pain and suffering. He had no time to dance and dream in life. Goes to show what can happen to somebody if they grow up in a horrible environment. Drago was just trying to get his happy ending in life but he sadly chose the wrong way to do it. Worst part is that Drago was supposed to return in the Hidden World with his own character and redemption arc where he got stuck on an island that was home to an aggressive dragon, Drago had to figure out how to earn this dragon's respect because it was his only way off the island and he ended up developing a proper bond with it. Also it sounds like he was supposed to have some form of conflict with Grimmel because Grimmel took over his fleet. Yes this is true www.slashfilm.com/dean-de-blois-interview-the-hidden-world/ Oh and Viggo's quote about "Black and white can become grey so easily. What one soul considers evil, another might consider righteous" sums up Drago quite a bit. Too bad HTTYD 2 was way too black and white with the morality instead of actually trying to make Drago's motivations with a slight bit of grey to them.
@@grantoliver157 Also not helped by the fact that Drago was supposed to be redeemed in the Hidden World. I don't care if he was removed this still kinda shows that Drago is less evil then Grimmel
Dagur: Kills Heather's adopted parents before the whole twist that they're siblings. Gets forgiven and to be redeemed. Viggo: Tried to starve Berk to death and committed a form of biological warfare/terrorism by trying to cause an outbreak of a fatal disease which almost killed Astrid because she gets infected. Did I mention he starts of the disease by infecting his own men who all die? Gets to be redeemed (even if he does seemingly die in the process of redemption). Drago: Kills a few chiefs and Stoick (who he wasn't even aiming at Stoick), is cruel to his men and wants war. UNFORGIVEABLE! HE'S EVIL AND AN IRREDEEMABLE MONSTER! Seriously what? What makes Drago's crimes any different from Viggo or Dagur's? Why doesn't Drago deserve a chance? Note: This is a rant referring to how a majority of the HTTYD fanbase bashes Drago for his actions claiming his actions made him irredeemable so zero fan works where Drago is more like an actual human being and develops, yet they let Viggo and Dagur off the hook easily and are fine with their official redemptions even though their crimes were as equally bad or even worse then Drago's.

When I first watched Triple Cross, I was so sad when Viggo died. Although he may have been a hard villain to beat throughout the series, he changed and started accepting dragons as equals. I wish he could join the riders, but sadly, it did not correspond with HTTYD 2.
I love viggo was also sad he died
Having him as a rider would make him look like a joke.
I disagree with the placement of these two characters
Astrid is one of the most bravest character one the show creating the A Team to protect Berk
Heather didn’t betray her friends she was acting as a double agent & she did everything in her power to look after a baby Death Song
Yeah, but they’re way too harsh on Snotlout dontchya think?
Come on!
Wait.......where the hell's Krogan HE HAS SO MUCH- I need to calm down but seriously Krogan has every right to be on that list like he killed a dragon hunter because he didn't like the way Krogan is hunting and look what they did to Garff and his.....foster parent... yeah and and ANNNDD he tries to kill Viggo behind his back and him and his dragon hunters almost kill Stoick as well and almost takes over Berk so yeah
Alright I don't need to get mad over just 1 missing bad guy
Also his voice is awesome
Seriously I can't get over how Hiccup just doesn't care about that he just got told about there was a village that had it even worse then Berk to the level it wasn't so lucky and was flat out destroyed and burned to the ground.
no since she has no moral agency and as a result she doesn't understand the concept besides she's only trying to survive.
Treasure Planet: Good to evil

Good: Jim
Neutral: John Silver
Bad: Captain Flint
Most Evil: Scroop
What about the Red Death? She was the main villain of the first movie, yet she doesn't even get a mention as to why she's not on the ranking.
in my opinion she would be in the grey area since she's just an animal following instinct sure she would be on the darker side since she did hold control over the dragons however she was only doing that so she would survive since survival is the ultimate goal for every animal that's not Scar or similar to him.

I always knew Grimmel would be the most evil How to train your dragon villain because he tried to kill every single dragon in existence
Unlike Drago who at least has a sympathetic and tragic background with seeing his entire village burn and die when he was just an innocent child so you understand a little of where Drago's motivations come from.
robonaught couldn’t have said it any better, Drago Bludvist probably wouldn’t have become a villain if he didn’t lose his left arm
Yes this is true

Oh and Viggo's quote about "Black and white can become grey so easily.
I hate grimmel

+WickedBinge, WE LOVE YOUR AWESOME UA-cam CHANNEL, Friend ! KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK, FRIEND ! !
Drago is my favorite Dreamworks villain
Drago Bludvist knew Stoick gave him a reason to have a personal grudge against him.
Dagur never killed Awswald the Agreeable.
Dear WickedBinge DreamSMP members good to evil
Thank you Wickedbinge
I agree with where you put Meatlug. She’s so kind and loveable and would do anything for Fishlegs and the riders she’s underrated by so many people

Unpopular opinion: The How to Train Your Dragon franchise (even the third one to the least extent. So with that said, while I like this movie for retaining what made the franchise work which is its likeable protagonists and strong emotional moments, it failed to live up to its predecessors because it only had a brief exposure of the Hidden World and some of the characters annoy us like Grimmel for being a disappointing version of Drago) is much better than Nickelodeon in the 2010s (yes, even Korra and both series of The Loud House I expected more out of)
@@Court8 and your not gonna say why
@@Dr.Doofus I don't know why
It's just really bad in my opinion
Very repetitive, Korra knows every element from 4
Its just a lazy, bad sequel like those other sequel films (not every single one but still)
well, if Stoic is doing everything to protect Everyone - HE IS PERFECT
Guys heather was actually undercover working for d dragon hunters it was planned by her and astrid she actually sacrificed her life for the riders and windshear she should have been in the good category
