this is so helpful! i always beat myself up about the fact that i’m a little slow when it comes to saying if something is on the left or the right, or if someone says turn right sometimes i’ll turn left etc. this is just great. cant wait to apply both your tips about turning and the indicator when i’m driving!
Hie Dane. I passed my driving test yesterday morning and it was my first attempt.My report sheet had 2grade 2 marks. Your videos are very very helpful and they helped a million times to make this a success. I used all your advice all way through the test. I almost hit the kerb during a reverse around the corner and i stopped, then repositioned the car to give a second attempt. So i then managed.Thereafter, i was so nervous and the examiner asked me to turn right and i indicated left and almost turned left before he asked me to stop and repeated himself again... Keep doing all you do...definitely a life saver and because of that am supporting you through a donation. May God continue to bless you!!!!

so much better than the instructor constantly shouting ''left, left, left'' as you indicate right.. it will take a miracle and a half for me to pass.... regardless, I still enjoy your videos I certainly feel like I learned more from you than many who claim they are qualified to do the job :(
This is not my problem. I have left right confusion. I know which way is left and which way is right. But I have to think about it. The problem is that my brain automatically goes the opposite way. Or by the time I get to the turn, my brain has turned around the direction in my mind. If GPS says turn right, I have to stop, think about it, then turn because my natural inclination is to turn the wrong way.
Hi Dane,I’ve my test on Monday,and two things are confusing me,so when there’s a car beside my turn on the left side of road and I’m forced onto the right hand side of road,how will I make the right hand turn ?
@@DaneTygheletsdrive if you drive on the right side is it still right on red like in the US or is it left on red ? Since you’re driving on the right side of the car are your roads opposite as well? See you can add all kinds of confusion. Also if I’m looking at the car you’re driving you could be driving on the left side as well, depending on who you ask
@@DaneTygheletsdrive but, I don’t know my left from my right, can’t read an analog clock, can distinguish between before and after, and I never know if I’m using the right does and dose for the someone of do or the Spanish word for 2…. It would be cool if it was transferable however it is very confusing bc my trick is driver side/passenger side but the switching the direction of the lanes and the road linage and coloring is confusing if it doesn’t work the way I think it would 🤯

I put a sticker on one side of the steering wheel and the back window in the direction it will go if i back up turning my wheel twords the sticker.

I really got to loosen my fingers when using the Indicator and Whipper. I got to much of a strong grip on the Steering Wheel.
I repeat to myself "I'm right you're wrong" probably not the best way but works for me

A right turn from the drivers point of view is not that different in the USA, right is still right. Where are you based?

If you're drivers side is on the left just think that your passanger is always right.
