Interesting game! Miwa won the majority of big shots and put great pressure on Sun the whole match. Yet, the score shows 0:3 and she got swept. That's the difference between an emerging young super star and a mature and established champion who is reaching her peak. Technically, Miwa's many big shots winners couldn't cover all the unforced errors Sun lured her into.
Well, this is a tough part of the learning curve. Her talent, fighting spirit and mental strength are undeniable. She will soon, if not already, be the number 1 Japan female player that can challenge the best players from China. And, she is only 15!
Harimotos are the world best brother/sister combo. Compared to her big brother, the little sister at this age, has better all around game and fundamentals, and will go farther than her brother.

Miwa played sensationally but given the circumstances ,she was affected by a degree of (understandable) anxiety. As a result, she made a lot of unforced errors, which for the most part didn’t miss by much.
In terms of rallying and ‘outright winners’, Miwa was every bit as good as, if not better than SUN.
I predict that both Miwa and Tomokazu will one day be World Singles Champions however, I strongly believe that Miwa will actually be the first of the siblings to secure the title!
There's no such thing as "unforced errors" in a competitive match. It's always about the other person. A stronger opponent forces you to push to your limits - faster, wider, flatter, longer, shorter - and that's where all the errors occur. It's *always* about the other person. As to Miwa's inevitable ascension, the same things were said about Mima Ito only two years ago. Where is she now?
@@user-dc1ud6px3s I think one could tell from Miwa’s expression that she became frustrated at missing some shots which normally she would not. Her ‘misses’ were no doubt in part because of the natural anxiety one would expect of a 15 year old child that was facing the World Champion for the first time, and in a ‘hostile’ environment.
As for there being no such thing as ‘unforced errors’, that is plainly nonsensical, as in any sport and at any level, players make mistakes which they should not have made given the circumstances at the time.
@@Arthur_Pint If what you said was true, an 'amateur' could beat Harimoto if she made enough of those 'unforced' errors and when the environment is 'right'. If so, she had no chance and no future as a professional athlete. What you're saying is just fanboy defending his pet player.

HARIMOTO is less impressive than her brother at her age. her brother defeated Zhang Jike.
I love Zhang Jike but everyone knows he wasn't himself after 2014 due to injuries. In comparison, Miwa is playing SYS in the peak of her career.
But Tomokazu was better in teen age than now )
@@crackbutt Zhang Jike was more dominant against foreign players than SYS. He could only beaten by ML, yet he was defeated by Harimoto. SYS barely defeated Korean player in last round.
@@ms21945 Every player plays differently against different style. You can't say who is better because he/she played better against a certain player.
