- Host Junor Francis and producer Eric Kohler talk with four members of Riverside, CA’s veteran group, The Skeletones - Jonas Cabrera, Paul Hampton, Kip Wirtzfeld, and Woody Diaz.
We preview their upcoming performances at No Values Festival on June 8th at Pomona Fairplex and on June 9th at The Glass House, where they’ll support The Selecter.
We also touch on The Debonaires (Kip and Woody’s other band), who’ll be backing reggae legend Susan Cadogan at The Glass House on August 10th.
Produced by Rockery Radio, this series aims to celebrate, preserve and promote the ska, rocksteady and vintage reggae scene in Southern California and beyond, through insightful conversations with the legends and modern day talent, including those behind-the-scenes.

Ezzat couldn’t get the insurance claim because I wasn’t over 25. So we technically violated the rental car contract. None of us were over 25.
"Andre Crouch" 😅😅😅

Dr. Bones in 208. I got pork rinds on my plate. Groove on that. 😅

Jonas almost didn’t make it in the band. He got in on enthusiasm. That was before we knew he could sing. I actually pushed for him to get in.
I used a lot of Stewart Copeland, Terry Bozzio and Neil Peart influences for the parts I came up with.
Mark and Alex also had a rock background as well. The fusion of all of us together showed what would come in the future with the ska/punk movement.
Pretty much every memory…. ❤️
I'm so excited to see you guys at the Glass House! Haven't seen Skeletones since going with Bob's son Isaac to Cal State Fullerton in 99!
Sitting here with Tilly right now so weird how everything turned out!!!!
