NYC Subway Map Edits: C train to Lefferts Blvd - Both Maps
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 сер 2022
- Here is a more "simple" map edit, I'll be editing the C train to Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd. Nobody requested this one, but I wanted to do it for a video on my main channel. I did this one on the old map and the new experimental map.
NOTE: I currently do not work for the MTA and I am not affiliated with them. This is just me having fun editing the maps.

There is no reason to have 2 A trains going to 2 completely different locations of Queens all A trains should go to the Rockaways and Lefferts should its own line which is the C train
That was perfect see how easy it is to extend the C train to Lefferts
i know right
Pretty dope, I wish that the MTA does consider extend the (C) Train to/from Lefferts Blvd in Ozone Park.
thanks!
Yea that makes sense and is why whenever I see the subway map it triggers me seeing the A go to lefferts
Nope. People want direct express service to manhattan from ozone park
Only problem is the junction at rockaway blvd and the traffic. Going to need to rebuild that station to meet traffic needs
Excellent job! It would be nice to see extended the (C) Train to Ozone Park Lefferts Boulevard Station Queens if Rockaway Boulevard Station is 2 Island Platforms with 4 tracks, and have the (A) Inwood-207th Street Manhattan go/from Far Rockaway Mott Avenue/Rockaway Beach 116th Street Queens even during late nights service at runs local, instead of the Rockaway Park Shuttle train from Broad Channel to Rockaway Park Beach 116th Street/Rockaway Boulevard to Rockaway Park Beach 116th Street during the summer time. The (C) Train can be a shuttle train from Euclid Avenue to Ozone Park Lefferts Boulevard or Chamber Street to Ozone Park Lefferts Boulevard during late night service. But we know that won't happen.
Most people from Lefferts want an express service, so a better option would be to designate the Lefferts branch as the K train. Also, although not part of this video and only operating during rush hours, A trains to Rockaway Park and 5 trains to Nereid Avenue can be designated as H and 8 trains, respectively. The good news is that the currently unused K, H and 8 bullet colors match those of their respective trunk lines if they started operating as said above. This way, no designation would have more than one branch and would be less confusing.
That's an even better idea since NO ONE traveling from Lefferts is going to sit in a C train that travels locally in Brooklyn and Manhattan. They're all going to transfer to an A train coming from the Rockaways at Rockaway Boulevard. I agree that the H and K should be reinstated in the way you suggested.
It looks way better how the C FINALLY gats away from the A lol
Your subway map edits are so damn clean! 👏
Thanks!
@@TransitTalkEXTRAS what app do you use to edit the maps please?
The C should be extended to Lefferts Boulevard. All A trains rerouted to Rockaway. Rockaway Park trains should be renamed H to avoid confusion between Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park services.
A+, man! Keep up the good work and I want to C train to extended to Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard, replacing the A train, but still
Kenneth get the hell outta here
The [A] should skip Grant Avenue, 80th Street, & 88th Street. The should run to Freeport-Mill Road, while the (C) should run to Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard. The {ACE} should run to Cambria Heights-229th Street. The [K] should also run via 8th Avenue. The should run from Co-op City to Clearview-Willets Point Boulevard, while the (K) should run from Fordham Road to Euclid Avenue.
Nice!
That should wait until the queens link can be built as a subway from Queens Blvd line
The best move the NY SUBWAY EVER DID !!
lol
damn this beat hard af
Yeah but I most likely won't use it again, I got a copyright claim :\

Nice video! Idea for map suggestion: (E) via Broadway Local to Whitehall St, and all (W) trains are not running
I'll add that to my list, I believe this is the second time this was suggested
Cool
Rembert’s dream
