Half-Scale Cat Scratcher

My miniature houses are cat-friendly. I'd like to share a quick and easy scratching post so your houses can be too.
Dimensions: L 1.6 cm, W 1.6 cm, H 3.3 cm
Supplies:
1. ONE PIECE OF FELT in your choice of color. Preferably the fluffier kind to mimic carpet fibers.
2. ONE KEBOB SKEWER or similar round piece of wood. For strict scale, the wood should be approximately 3 mm in diameter.
3. TWINE OR STRING that can be separated into strands.
4. CARD STOCK
5. TACKY GLUE
