AWESOME story !!!! Truly inspiring and another great reminder to appreciate our ability to get out there and just enjoy running, enjoy our marvelous bodies, enjoy nature, enjoy the challenge, and even maybe enjoy the pain!! 🙏🏻🏃🏻♀️🙏🏻 Great music and editing too Ben!
Thanks Bev, really enjoyed making this one with Keith. And very insightful to hear about his experience at parkrun and running in general. Thanks for tuning in. Hope your training is going well!
Hey Ben, thank you for sharing Keith's story with us. It's amazing to see how running has given him a sense of freedom and allowed him to push himself to the limit, despite the challenges he faces as a blind runner. I appreciate the awareness you brought to the issue of considerate guide runners and the importance of being aware of blind runners during races. Keith's determination to participate in a half marathon without a tether is truly inspiring! Keep up the great work in sharing stories like Keith's with the running community!
Thanks so much Mihai. I really enjoyed working with Keith on this and it was really insightful to hear about his experience. Glad you found the video interesting too. Hope you're keeping well 👍
Wow! Completely blown away. What a true inspiration! Thank you for sharing Keith's story with us Ben! 💙 So amazing to hear tales like this it really is humbling. He really does portray the love of running and he is willing to break boundaries and enjoy life to the max despite his disability. Huge love to Keith! 💙😎🤘
Thanks Ben! Really enjoyed making this one with Keith and hearing his story. Can really relate to that idea of freedom that he gets from running too. Thanks for the support buddy 😀
Wow I didn't expect such level of professionalism with your running stories videos. It's like watching a BBC documentary. Thank you, Ben for featuring Keith and bringing his running story to us. It's so inspirational and also raises awareness of blind runners. Loads of thumbs up from me.
Thanks so much Olga. I remember when I first met Keith last year and heard about his experiences it was really insightful so wanted to bring this story to the channel. Love his take on running and why he's motivated to get out there. Thanks for watching 👍
Keith's enthusiasm for running really shines though here. Thanks for sharing, Ben. Looking forward to the other stories you have in the pipeline 👍🏻🏃♂️
Thanks Mark. Keith is a great advocate for running, can really relate to what fires him about getting out there for a run! Looking forward to getting some more stories out there this year
Really enjoyed hearing about Keith's story considering I see him every time doing Hove Prom Parkrun!
Thanks for watching 👍 Was great to meet Keith and chat with him 😊
Really enjoyed that. Nice to hear the perspective of a blind runner’s approach to running. Never thought about the freedom aspect before as I have always thought how nerve racking it must be for them when I have run next to a blind runner in a race.
Thanks for watching Dave 👍
What a wonderful, inspirational first episode! I can't wait to follow along as this series moves forward! Great stuff Ben! I can't wait to talk more about this with you!
Thanks so much Paul! Look forward to chatting with you tomorrow 😀
Great idea to share and display such inspiring stories Ben . Thanks so much to Keith 🏃🏻♂️👊
Thanks Michael! Hoping to do more of these this year. Just finished the next episode so will be sharing that tomorrow :) Hope all's good with you
Very beautiful sharing 👍
Thank you 👍
Love Keith. That was great Ben really enjoyed it!!
Cheers Tim!
Super. A really well told story Ben. Keith is an inspiration, really makes you appreciate what you have and running is for anyone that can, regardless of limitations. That parkrun however, on the coast, looks freezing! I really hope he manages the GNR untethered. His guide is a legend as well and hearing his story as well would put it all together. What motivates him to help, it sounds like a wonderful running relationship.
Thanks Francois. Yes, Hove Prom is one of our local parkruns. Super flat so a great PB course unless of course there's any wind as you really feel it even if it's just a tiny bit with how open the course is! Thanks for watching.
Great idea Ben and great to hear Keith’s story. Ps Nice to see you this morning 😊
Thanks Ben, good to see you this morning. Hope the injury gets sorted soon 👍
Brilliant video Ben, really well put together.
I used to go to college with Keith so really lovely to see he’s equally as determined now, as he was back then. Truly inspiring!
Thanks Steve, really enjoyed talking to Keith and hearing his story, great guy.
Absolutely epic video, amazing well done Ben, and truly inspirational.
Thanks Terry!
Thank you for this Ben. Learned a lot from watching this video. Keith you are a true inspiration!
Thanks Sage! Really enjoyed making this one and hearing from Keith about his experiences.
Excellent Vlog, Ben. Keith's story really does help put one's own temporary running woes in perspective.
Thanks so much. Certainly does, really helps to appreciate just being able to get out there and enjoy it
Exciting new series Ben, and what a great first episode! Very interesting to hear how Keith feels about running and I hope he'll get to race the Great North Run without a tether. I really admire his will to do it this way, I think I would be terrified. I need to look closely into being a guide runner at some events, it's something I have been thinking of doing it but haven't taken any steps yet.
Thanks for watching Chloe. Really enjoyed meeting Keith and chatting to him. If you ask your local parkrun they may know of people who need a guide or know about local blind and VI runners groups.
Excellent video Ben. So lovely to meet Keith and hear his story :😃
Thanks Phil. Hope you're keeping well
Love the runner stories.
Awesome video!
Thanks for watching 👍
Amazing.. and truly inspirational.
Thank you 🙏
This is so good, mate. Really interesting, inspiring and thoughtfully put together. I really hope this gets the exposure it deserves; it really deserves it. Well done!
Cheers Ian! I learnt a lot making this one with Keith. Really interesting to hear his story and also the challenges he faces at events like parkrun compared to sighted runners. Thanks for watching 👍
@@timeonfeet I looked into it a couple of years ago, but wouldn't have the time at the moment to commit to it. Definitely something to consider in the future though!
Really nice video Ben. Enjoyed and looking forward to part 2!!
Thanks for watching Bruce 👍
Great video felt like a documentary

Thanks for watching 👍
Great idea. Best wishes.
Thanks for watching 👍
Great story. Any tips on how to get into guide running (as in being the guide, sorry if I've got the terminology wrong)?
Thanks. If you've got parkrun near you then you could always contact them to see if they have any blind or VI runners who need guiding. Alternatively you could get in touch with British Blind Sport as they have a lot of info and also contacts in local areas.
@@timeonfeet Thanks, Ben - much appreciated
