derkommissar3 No matter where he goes, the ladies lie in wait for the - WOOO!!! - "Nature Boy" Ric Flair!!! The greatest wrestler in the world today, and Dusty Rhodes, my friend, we've only JUST BEGUN!!!! Learn to love it, learn to live with it - diamonds are forever, and so is Ric Flair!! WOO!!
Ironically, while Flair was ripping on Piper here they were teaming together roughly around the same time in Mid Atlantic. This pretty much goes along with the unwritten rule about the NWA champion in that he had to be a heel on the road but a face in his home territory.
@@TheSportsfan35 I agree. Dutch was a great worker..Just like Buddy Rose, Portland was Dutch's town. I miss these days. Wrestling just isn't the same anymore. Thank Goodness for UA-cam and good memories.
I went to see many matches at the Masonic Temple with my buddies back in the 70s. Lumberjack Luke was my favorite. I remember when he fired up a lot of people in Yakima with his "bunch of pig farmers" remarks. Fun times, great memories.
1:45. 39 years later,Flair basically looks like an older version of,Ric Flair, while Billy Jack Haynes, from a picture I saw of him last year, looks like Cousin ITT of the Addams Family. Too bad.
Huh? People have used the term dude since at least the 1950s. And especially from the 60s and 70s on. Including in pro wrestling. Same with "Brother." All Hogan did was use those terms in the way that a fucking cartoon character would.
"STILL kissing the girls, and making them cry! WHOO!!"
The Nature Boy Ric Flair. The greatest of all time.

It's a shame Dutch never got recognised by promoters by putting him in the ring guys like Flair, Race _ The Funks.

This is what helped influence Chael Sonnen
oldest ride! longest line! WOOO!
wyre I'd say you're qualified to be "The Man" if you wrestled in 5 decades and held belts in each of 'em too. WOOOOOO!!!
piper vs. flair in their prime was a sight to behold, but they're chemistry as a tag team wasn't as good as when they fought against each other.
I've seen two of his appearances in Portland, and Harley Race before him, that belt looks cooler in person.
Rick Flair was one of the greatest but MoonDog Mayne was the GOAT.
The Best WORLD CHAMPION OF ALL TIME"THE NATURE BOY"RIC FLAIR WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!Listen to the Women, thy love him.

Dutch does not seem terribly impressed by the Nature Boy.
WOOOOOOOOO
head of the clan
That's right, Woooooooooo! ;)
i think ric enjoyed taking pot shots at billy jack...and the champ was to find out shortly that was a big mistake..
Flair used dude before hogan lol.
Hulk used "dude" and took it to it's highest level.

McMahon did right to say screw the territories other than a few nwa wrestlers wwf was miles ahead and better than any other promotion
Germaine Johnson pay wise
Bullshit!!!!
If you actually grew up watching all the companies at the same time like I did in 83 WWF wasn't even top 5 most entertaining
WWF was predictable. It was elementary school wrestling, while the NWA, back then, was for the grownups.
