That was an awesome dialogue! Thanks so much, Pastors Andrew and Chris! I feel refocused to walk closer to Jesus going into the final weeks before the 'Big E' on Nov. 3!
I needed this. Your subjects were right on. You reminded me of who I am. I get so lost. Like this morning. But I know the direction I need to go and I have the desire vs the apathy. Thanks guys!!! Amen!
Functioning in an environment of division, disagreement and strife is by keeping our race car sponsor (Jesus Christ) as the main sticker in our life. Love the analogy to keeping God as our main sticker and the one who Christians are to be representing. Thank you for the refreshing reminder.
I would have to say this is a good message, people need to understand though what would God do? ... And when they cast their boat they need to think about what does that person represent, and also is the party that's behind it what is biblical.... unborn babies have a right to live,.. and remember where the Bible tells us, and an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth a life for a life. Matthew 5:38-42
I tried to watch it all before comment but I cannot. But it was great to have Chris Brown as a guest with Bayside and rep for Mikuni. Taro will be proud 😎💯👊💥🇺🇲 Maybe you guys don't know how the process works work, afterall I see Nascar knowledge is absent 😲 One candidate/party in 2020 supports God, Israel, live at conception, freedom, lives of the unborn, etc and the other party/candidate took God out of their platform, actively pushes for abortion to the point of aborting a life after birth, and God is not allowed in most if not all public schools, no more prayer in schools. Is that who Jesus would would support if He were alive today? Aren't we supposed to act like Jesus is here with us today? I hear that many Sundays during the year at Bayside. It reminds me of Isreal in the Bible. God was so po'd over His own people not following Him or doing what he wanted that He let them wonder aimlessly without Him. He eventually had to actively punish them. If you can tell me God would be 100% cool with the church and other Christians and Jews supporting these types of "Kings" then I'll never ask you another political type question again. Before you answer in the Book of Kings God judged each King on what they did for Him and Israel that most Kings were a complete disappointment and "did not do what God wanted them to do." Will God judge you who turned a blind eye on Christians pushing to vote against God and didn't speak up on Sunday? Are you actively allowing your Christian flock to support a person/party who hates God and actively tries to strike Him out of their lives? That would be quite shocking and since there is active disagreement in the church in who is our should run this country, that means some of you do. Is God ok with this in 2020?
Interesting that you felt you needed to comment before finishing the episode. I think these guys totally understand how political parties work. I'm sure they see how some positions can stand against biblical values too. I think Jesus had very similar issues in his time under Roman rule. Perhaps roman politics, culture and behavior was more concerning in some ways than our own today? Perhaps, there were many similarities too. Yet, Jesus modeled the very existence that is still very relevant today. Love people. Give to Caesar what is Caesars and to God what is God's. I think this whole series "Finding Good" is not political but a clear attempt to ACT LIKE JESUS despite what our culture is wrapped up in. In regards to your Israel-rebeling-against-God comment, I agree. But I'm not sure how this applies to these guys. I don't see them actively worshipping idols and I definitely don't hear this episode advocating or "supporting these kings." This episode isn't political. It's bigger than that. To say, let's strive to live peaceably with all humans because of our witness isn't the same as saying don't love your country or we support a specific candidate. In fact, Chris Brown in this episode goes as far to tell Christians to GO VOTE but just remember who you are. Lastly, all the judgement stuff you mentioned seems to be more tied to the result of how people vote in America than how Christians love, lead and live while here. That's particularly interesting. Is God's indignation more easily flared up by our political preferences than the way we treat one another? In any case, I appreciate what these guys are trying to do. They're trying to be a pebble in the shoe of a culture that seems bent on being unkind to one another. At the end of the day, we need more of that--more of what Jesus stood for. I think you and I agree on that. 🙏🏼
Thank you, Pastors Chris & Andrew! Great dialogue, awesome perspective, much needed reminder about living as Christians in these trying times. 🙏♥️

AMEN! No matter what party wins... it's not getting better!
It is GOD who is CONTROL!
So good. Think you for the blessing of this perspective.
Thank you!!! I needed to hear this.

I have to say that "No man is put into authority but by God's hand" wait and see. Only God controls the outcome. God bless!

It is only by Gods hand is any man put in authority... We'll see what happens
