Hey just an added suggestion, if you're running onedrive to backup files either shut it off before launching the game or just stop it from looking at the documents folder. COD keeps some of it's files in there and OD will lock those files periodically when COD goes to update them so OD can upload them. This causes COD to freak out and ctd.
Another good setting worth trying is changing the upscaling/sharpening. Instead of the usual FidelityFX CAS, try setting it to AMD FSR1.0 or Nvidia Image Scaling(which ever you prefer since they're very similar) and then set them to their highest quality preset. The difference in quality is very minimal, but the difference in performance is often around 10-15% which is huge. My fps went from 50 to 70 on my old system and from 110 to 125 on my new one.
Edit: it doesn't matter if you're using an AMD or Nvidia graphics card. Both settings work for both cards. Also, AMD FSR2.1 is now also available and it works just as well, but the image will look a bit different than the other two. Sometimes it looks better and sometimes worse. Still worth trying.

Wrong! +20% FPS and stability if i not only use 90 video memory skale in game, but also in config file write in Videomemoryskale 2.000000 (Maximum value). Before 120-130 FPS, After 150-170. RTX 3070... If you have starters for 90 percent of video memory, then this is not video memory !! The problem is in the CPU or in the motherboard and its VRM ... Why is that? The video card needs to colorize the frames, and the processor supplies the frames, and if this fails, then the video card sometimes drops sharply in fps, which is why starters appear. Roughly speaking, we give freedom to the video card, but we narrow the processor for various reasons.
It depends on what you’re using. My Intel i9-13900kf has 16 cores I think, but it only has 8 performance cores. So I set mine to 7, because I don’t want to use all of my performance cores.
Check the refresh rate in game setting. If it’s set to 60 and you have a monitor that supports 144-165 or higher it can cause that issue. Just set it to max
Question though are you still using nvidia image sharpening in the control panel for that driver with the regedit to bring feature back or did you go back to fidelityfx cas?

Foureyes, got a question. 2 weeks ago you said turn off Fidelity Cas. Now you have it enabled and saying to use. What has changed or result difference? Not looking to bash a reply just wanting clarity :)
I currently use the NVIDIA sharpening as well as Fidelity FXCAS to essentially get "double sharpening". For anyone with a mid or lower end PC, or who just want pure performance and lowest latency, keep FidelityFX Off.

Do you no longer use Nvidia control panel sharpening? The last option isn’t available with an updated control panel (which I rolled back via your instructions for Nvidia sharpening)
Unfortunately for AMD users if you play Minecraft (JAVA edition) and you're not on the latest drivers it for some reason butchers your frames. I play both Warzone 2 and Minecraft java edition and I was basically forced to update to the newest drivers.

@@o_sood94I’m on a 5900x cpu and a 4090 gpu and I run everything 4K Max settings at a steady 120fps and have a 99% gpu bottleneck as well.
@@jamesadkinsiii7925 that’s incredible. 4090 is a beast. I’m not ready to go to 4K yet as I mainly play FPS games. I feel like 1440p is a great sweet spot. 3090 is still a beast for that
Thanks for the tips! Another tip is to disable MPO in Windows. This ugly feature has been causing a great amount of stuttering and flickering for both AMD and Nvidia users. Tabbing will also become snappier once MPO is turned off.
What is mpo
@@smgtaxx A simple online search would show. It's Multi-Plane Overlay.
How to do thwt
Bro, you're my hero. I've spent 3-4 hours every night the past 3 nights trying to figure out why this game is stuttering on my new build, going through every recommended fix and optimization I could find, and this is the one thing that finally fixed it! Thanks again!
@@steve_1986 Happy to help!
i did everything you said and im still stuttering this game needs to be fixed im on a high end pc
Me2 :/
I am running 4k uktrawide and get 80-90fps. I have a cpu bottleneck and have a 3080. Looking at ways to get higher fps. I was getting 120 in WZ1. I think it's the game itself...
I'm running a 2k monitor, 6800xt and 5800x3D CPU. I was only getting 120-130 fps on custom settings. I cleaned my GPU and applied new thermal paste. Now I'm getting 190-230 fps...no joke bro. Try cleaning your gpu.
I honestly did not know i could play multiplayer on steam if i have it installed on battle net
I enabled it also. I have a amd ryzen 7 5800x and rtx 3070. Should i also run double sharpening ?
@@FourEyesGames thanks for response.
@@FourEyesGames how do you enable both?
The game is still unplayable.. Who can help me to fix it? :)
I havent had any issues with battlenet. My game has only crashed 2 times. and that was when it first came out.
Hey Foureyes, love you material. Can you explain why you Benchmark with a 3090 /I7-12700k is only 132 FPS. ( cpu 1% Gpu 99%) and mine is 142 FPS on and old I7-6700/ 3080 rtx ( 88% CPU/11% GPU)
The focus is why the lower framerate?
I know mine is CPu bottlenecked and on the big map wz2 I average about 100 fps in actual game play br.
Still no benchmarks and no comparison👏👏👏
How about RTX 2060 i set video memory scale lower 50, 70 or 90 ? And shader cache low, medium, high or ultra? Thank
Hey, i have mw2 and wz2 on battlenet, will steam locate the folder? Or should i delete the games and redownload them?
This worked for me 2080ti 3900x 16gb ram
I can’t see that spot cache on settings.
Capo de la vida, Gracias rey
Hello! After putting graphic settings on low/medium and do the benchmark test in MW i have 29% vram usage. Is that normall?
LESS GO NEW FPS VID
No worries! Got more tips coming, so Subscribe if you haven't already!
Just wow just finished watching another video on here for mw2 I’m running a rx6600xt I had in my other pc with a better cpu was getting around 130fps put it on this pc and it was only about 75 steady boosted to 96fps now watched this bc I was lagging when jumping from the plane this fixed it earned a sub 🎉
Im using a amd ryzen 7 5800x and rtx 3070 Does it work good together ?
And how much fps should i be getting or aiming for
Spot cache setting doesn't show on mines
