@@discoshrew7403 😄 I can't tell you the amount of time I've spent watching them. Every few months I return to watch more, as there are new ones that turn up.

What a load of bollocks these ain’t no gangsters and never worked with the Krays or Richardsons they’re too young for that 😅 only thing correct is bas was a music teacher and Pete was a postman. Their grandsons write the tunes

Welcome to the rabbit hole. Hope you were forwarned that it is now the law to go through all their tracks!!! They are east enders/cockneys (part of London) which has a rich history of gang history. Plus cockney rhyming slang started nearly 200 yrs ago - so rhyme as part of speech is in their DNA. Also Bas has been into music most of his life. in the interview with Fumez it sounded like he did some work with known bands who were around in the 60s. Also played on cruise ships, and plays piano and some brass instruments, some jazz - so he understands music and riding a beat. All their tracks have bars beats and flow. Stepped into the Building, Quick 1-2, Mr Worldwide, Bish Bash Bosh - you can't go wrong. You got a great journey ahead - and pete and bas love reliving their reactions through new reactors!!!! Oh and for Christmas, you need to do their Christmas track they dropped a couple of years ago "You know its Christmas"
They have only been rapping about 6 years. Pete (short one is 73) started listening to rap with his granddaughter. Bas (77) is a musician so Pete called him up and asked if he wanted to try it. They write their own stuff but their grandchildren help them keep current on the slang.
Rumor has it that Pete ran with the Kray twins who were both notorious for their ruthless East End of London crime empire that rocked the Fifties and Sixties. They were the most feared gangsters in mid-20th century England. Bas' Dad ran an illegal bare nuckle fighting ring where he did some fighting.
They just had a song, T-Pain, get noticed by THE T-Pain, and they did a remix with him. Well worth checking out both videos in one reaction video. They make heavy use of Cockney Rhyming Slang and UK Drill Slang.
Aaaand now you have to react to all their songs, it's the law. They're all good. Stepped Into The Building would be a good next one for a different flow, or Bish Bash Bosh, that one goes hard as hell. They also just did a song with T-Pain.
You're right. They were actual gangsters. And I think they still may be. I'm subbing to see you go down this rabbit hole, but be warned, listen to them enough and you will start to feel like you should be in witness protection. But seriously, everything they do is incredible.
Pete worked in the sorting office for the post office, bas was in a band, classical pianist 😂 the information is out there …. Stop lying about them being some type of gangsters they never were never have been .. and they don’t even claim to have been .. stop spreading absolute nonsense
@@petercoyne8300 Its mad to see so many people trying to lie about this stuff. It doesn't make Pete + Bas better or worse not to have been directly involved in the lifestyle, they're both fire regardless of their backgrounds. People trying to constantly claim they were part of the Krays and Richardsons, when a tiny bit of math shows that both would have been 8-12 years old when the Krays/Richardsons were around and neither would have been running with them at that age lmfao.
Fumez was like "...did you just really send for everyone?" "I ain't Fredo" (UK rapper) "don't wear tight little shirts like Bugzy" (Bugzy Malone, UK Rapper) "Lil boy Aitch don’t wanna get maced" (Aitch is a younger UK rapper) "Stormzy’s mug get smashed in the face" (massive name in UK Drill, check out Mel Made Me Do It) "Jaykae still didn’t send his verse" (UK rapper, has a song with Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, and Aitch called Take Me Back To London) "Skepta get left in a casket case"
They are not and never been no gangsters . Seeing people say they worked with the Krays etc, they never .. the Krays were almost 25 years older than these guys by the time these were 5/10 years old the Krays run was done they were doing long stretches in jail 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 stop spreading false shite . Bas was a classical pianist and music teacher. Pete worked for 30 years in a post office.. that’s the truth of it, their grandkids write all their stuff: but they perform the shit out of it . This started as a bit of fun to get clicks and they quickly realised how much traction they gained
100% active OGs. Pete was a shooter and hustler for the Ritchards Firm in the eastend of London. Bas was a bare knuckle boxer and hustler also from the ends. Bas became a music instructor later in life and Pete's grandkids got him into hip-hop.
Pete was a shooter for the richardsons? REALLY? The Richardsons were around until 1965/1966 when the big guys were arrested and sentenced. Pete at the time of 1965 would have been just turning 13 years old. So when was he supposed to be doing this shooting for them? In his diapers?
Eminem could be writing anything close to this good when he’s 70 quite frankly the stuff he right now is very hard to listen to and not really good. Plus he thinks he’s tough anyways like 101 pound soaking wet.
I'll never tire of watching people discover Pete & Bas for the first time. Am going to see them live tonight (Brighton, England) and i'm PUMPED!! 🔥
