The pr photos are always bad! I genuinely think they pay the photographer and editors to make them look terrible so we’re wowed by them in person. I have never, NEVER seen a bad photo of Coco besides the stock photos. Mara, of course, is the latest victim 😔

In my opinion neon shadow having the punk cats on everything makes them read more as dolls that are suppose to go to together unlike rainbow dream where the only thing they had in common was being rainbow
And if that punk cats are their logo you could view it as them wearing their own merch lol

I've never considered collecting dolls before but I've been thinking of collecting all the pink ones because it's my favorite color, and mixing and matching the clothes 😅
I'm considering collecting only the ones I like, because I find that out of each series I'll maybe only like four or three. Still better than none at all 😂, I missed out on Monster High and I'm definitely not missing out on Rainbow/Shadow High.

@@angelsplayroom Right, like it's not guaranteed that you'll get different shoes like if you for example purchase ten of them. Also the price for one is a bit meh, considering how much you get with each doll already. I applaud whomever is actually trying to collect all. 😂

Hopefully these are generally less wonky looking than series 4 because I think I’m just getting them online. My Walmarts are garbage.
I found a few of each and they all seemed better quality than usual. But it could be just luck.

I'm an 18 year old aspiring collector and I am so excited to get my first doll I just don't know who to pick! Definitely a rainbow high doll for sure.
What state did you find all of them in? For series 4, my Target had them right away, but they're not on the Target website yet.

I don't know why anyone is saying Meline being pronounced "Melanie" is French. It literally isn't, anywhere. French people do not pronounce it that way. If there was an accent over the last "e," it would be pronounced "Mell ee nay." But there isn't, so reading it the English way, "Mell lean," is correct. I swear a kid had to have started this rumor because they thought it sounded cool. But it's wrong. Source: studied French for 7 years

In person does the hair match the clothes? In pictures and videos the hair seems more orangish
It’s definitely PinkU but a more warm pink. The pinks look good together but they’re not the same shade.
@@angellozamh I actually like that the pinks are different shades. I know some want them all to be the same shade of pink, or blue, or whatever colour, but I feel like that would look too boring.
It sucks people don’t understand adult doll collectors because some the employees get so annoyed when you ask. When series 4 came out all of their paint jobs were messed up or had some sort of defect that was glaring to me. I asked an employee if they could go in the back and check if they had any extras. When she came back she was irritated and told me there was nothing wrong with the dolls unless you pick them apart. I was so embarrassed so I’ll never ask again. I had my two sons with me so I’m sure she thought I was buying a doll for them. Idk it was a strange encounter.
Edit: For your case, would tell the employee you run a toy review UA-cam channel and it’s your job. They will take you much more seriously I’m sure.
I’m sorry that happened! For the most part I have good luck with the Target employees but the Walmart ones just kinda stare at me like 😑
@@angellozamh I feel that! I understand they don’t want to be there and are working to pay their bills. This happened at Target actually. I walked up to two employees, a man and a women chatting. I thought the man was going to check. He seemed a lot more chill and she walked with a limp, but she insisted and I felt bad right off the bat because I was thinking she wouldn’t be the one to get them. I only asked for jewels to save them the work so it’s not like she brought out a ton of dolls and when she came back with three other Jewels they all had defects. Then that’s when she said I was just nitpicking. In my head it’s like, “we pay a lot of money for these so they should be produced as advertised” but of course I just thanked her and walked away lol.
The employees should not be complaining. After all, part of the expensive amount of money you pay for these dolls will go to their pay cheque. They are there to work and to serve customers. As long as you approach them respectfully, they should DO THEIR JOB and get you the product you want without complaining. I am so over rude employees/people in general. If I dare ask some of them where I can find a particular product, because I don't want to spend 2 hours searching for it, instead of taking 10 minutes to find out by calling a colleague or manager, they huff and puff and some make a big deal about it. Like you might not be getting paid that much, and i used to work retail as well, but if a customer is respectfully asking you to do something that is a part of your job (which is to offer product assistance), then do it without bitching about it. geez.
