I always enjoyed the simplistic concept of the one suit in the 1989 film. The 1992 one really annoys me, it looks like a shopping sale of Batsuits! It was too much in my opinion even when I first saw it. The one suit in a safe worked just fine. I can just hear the unlocking and the imposing theme of that scene, much better than the 1992 version.

No one would expect it to be a genuinely serious and incredible film, and not just a silly blockbuster. Honestly, aside from the butt shots, the "Batman Forever" suit-ups were actually pretty good. You don't see the nipples, the lighting is dark, the music is ominous and foreboding, and the shots of his hand grabbing gadgets add to the tension.
I love how from 0:26 to 0:31 he has multiple extra cowls, boots, etc. Just in case something bad happens he has spare parts.😂 instead of one whole suit. He has closets full of body suits.
I love how with the Keaton suit, the head and shoulders is all one big piece, that gets held down by the Batman symbol on the chest. This is why he has to tear the mask off when talking to Selena ( Michelle Pheiffer ), at the end of Batman Returns, unlike the Christian Bale Batman mask that can just lift right off his head.

Looking at this montage, they did get very weird didn't they?! I had the 'making of' books for each film and I loved how the suits were created and designed. So much detail and whilst it didn't phase me with the ass shots at the time, someone designed all these outfits. The work that went into each film by Bob Ringwood, Mary Vogt, Ingrid Ferrin, Robert Turturice and especially Jose Fernandez amongst the other sculptors and designers were really something. I always loved the art in these films. I miss the practical side of filmmaking and the suits for the films will always make a big impression on me for their craft. Keats suit up in the 1989 film will always be my favourite and the score so elevates the moment for me.
Mask of the Phantasm (1993) was in movie theaters, and he does suit up in that movie. That one is still my favorite suit up scene, and it's still the best Batman movie. RIP Kevin Conroy. You belong to the ages. Whenever a comic book gets read involving Batman, I will always hear your voice.

I always found it funny that the batman movies never showed him actually putting the suit on. It's always cuts and camera trickery and then wham bam thank you mam he's in the suit.
