Just for those who says my phone is still not working,and it's not coming on factory reset option ,i been watching 100 videos none of them really helps , right come to the point what u have to do. 1-Put your phone on charging 2- phone goes off on charging mode then just press Volume down and power button same time. DO NOT PRESS HOME BUTTON. 3)If it's doesn't work take phone off charging then you see the battery charging percentage. Then press Volume up and Power button same times. Keeping pressed till Phone comes on with Galaxy sign, keep on hold and you will see after 40 seconds it will go for rebooting and factory settings. I hope it will help✌️
Thank you so much for this. The key was that volume down + home + power. That allowed us to then factory reset it. We even tried to let the battery completely run out in hopes that would allow the factory reset once we plugged it back in but that didn't work either. Your's worked perfect for us.

If you can get your device to turn off, go ahead and start from 01:09 ALSO if you ONLY GET TWO OPTIONS !! READ! Select option (UP) to continue. From there you'll start the restore process by holding the buttons at this screen VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER BUTTON until the Android screen appears and then follow the rest of the video from there.
First when your phone on the lock screen press on hold the power button volume botton and the middle botton at the sametime on till the screen change then release them and then you will see the blue screen pop up when the blue screen pop up press the middle button then the screen will change to white screen with words the press power button

You have to hold it for at least 15 seconds, GO in order by holding the VOLUME UP First then HOME then POWER BUTTON and continue to hold for about 15 seconds
my problem was that i needed the pin just to power it off.I found the solution in the comments of another video.They said that instead of powering off the phone hit the restart button and then hold the power,volume up, and home buttons all at once and keep holding them until a different screen appears.Well it did appear then i just went through a restore for about 15 mins and i was back into the phone with no locks on it at all.The videos and pictures were still there as well.
my phone now says "an unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device to its factory default settings. connect to a wifi or mobile network to verify your identity"...what now???

Hi! I'm hoping you can help. My Android Samsung Galaxy S7 has frozen during restart. As soon as the white Samsung logo finishes appearing on the screen, it gently flashes lighter then darker. I tried the basic reboot methods I learned about online but nothing has changed, instead if just keeps looping back to the frozen screen. Leave the phone unplugged on that screen it will drain faster, once it's dead, recharge the phone and start the process from 1:05
