  • This is a look back at Suzuki's RM125 motocross machine for 1991. This was the third year for this model and Suzuki made some pretty bold styling choices in 1991. Now, many people love the looks of these machines but in 1991 its looks were very controversial. The move away from blue and the outrageous graphics certainly helped the 1991 RMs stand apart from their predecessors.
    On the track the RM was fast and fun to ride in 1991. If you liked your handling sharp and your power quick, the 1991 Suzuki RM125 was an excellent choice this season.

    89-92 are my favorite RM's. Even though they quit the blue engine in 89 and the blue frame in 91 they still looked good to me.

    91 RM 125 one of my favorites, still love and miss my 84 RM 125. Long live the RM

    Great video that gives a great view of the the strenghts and weaknesses of the Suzuki RM 125s. Keep up the got work. I had a 87 RM 125, didn't like the handling. It also wasn't very reliable. Actually the only Suzuki, I have had, that weren't reliable. Then I got a 89 RM 125 (loved it). After that 90 RM 125, a great bike with a midrange that kicked like a mule. Very fun to ride, but not as easy to ride as the 89 model.especially its quick low to midrange hit, its ability to turn on a dime and how easy it was to control on jumps. I wish they would start producing them again.

    I just purchased a 1991 Tecnosel rm125! Can someone explain to me what's so important about it being a tecnosel?

    • @TheMotocrossVault
      @TheMotocrossVault  3 роки тому

      Tecnosel is not a model, it was a graphics company that made seat covers and decals. I’m sure your bike has Tecnosel graphics on it so that is why the name is there.

    Way better than 87 but not as good as 92.

      @@dreyn7780 just my personal experience. My friend had the 87 and it was a dog, 91 was good and 92 was better. Loved all of them but the 87 was harder to keep on the pipe. They all handled great
