The algorithm has graced me with your content, and oh my goodness those table runners worked AMAZING for the corset parts! Love how you added the modesty panels as well!
I love how both of these turned out! They are so dreamy and now I absolutely need to look for some table runners at my thrift store to make some of my own ❤ sucb a clever use of fun material! I would have never thought to look for a tabel runner despite the fact that I own a cheap Amazon corset that very much looks like tapestry fabric and I'm sure table runners or other tapestry fabric would be much sturdier.
Oh I LOVE this! I have a picture of that cider dress printed out and in my sewing pile to try and recreate because I love it, but don't want to buy it lol. I LOVE the black version you made especially! We have similar proportions down to the short torso, and it makes me happy to see how fantastic the dress looks!
The dresses are cute but they aren’t flattering on your body because you aren’t making them correctly. You don’t seem to add any darts to shape the bodice. Was this supposed to be an over bust or under bust corset? It looks like it was created as an under bust style but was made too long. You are a busty girl and need to shape your garments or you will look larger than you are. Don’t be shy of your curves young lady. You are making your own clothing so make them to fit you. Isn’t that the point of you creating them yourself?
The dresses are so cute!! I dream to be able to make dresses as effortlessly as you❤ As someone who's just starting out, I make SO many errors on the sewing machine. Sometimes it doesn't feel worth it🥲
You’ve got this! The learning stage is always the hardest with a new craft but I promise it’s always worth it in the end. A seam ripper will always be my best friend 😂 Good luck in your sewing journey! I know you’ll be great! ❤️

cider dresses are short torso'd. but these are way cuter.
I always see these and think they're cute but don't want to give money to Cider. What a great idea!!

Why would it be a problem to appear larger than one is?
@@elliek.6863 great question. Look up the history of corsets. Maybe that will answer your question or evoke more questions.
9:55 a.k.a., a stomacher!
That is so cute! Really well done I need to get my hobbit core fall wardrobe going!
