Crushing poker isn't true just yet. If there was elo rating for poker she's probably 1000 or so. She will get much better with coaching but she's still a whale for the time being, not a crusher.
In Italy we have a lot of dialects (that are sadly dying out as young people don't use them anymore) and a lot of different accents, so it used to be so that between different regions people didn't speak the same language, but then with the cultural unification that led to the creation of Italy people had a common language and the main difference was really just the accents (which are extremely different between very far apart regions but not so much that you can't understand anything, it just requires an additional effort). For example I am from Napoli and Firenze : one has a dialect that sounds close to Portuguese to the point where I can understand conversations between my Portuguese/Brazilian friends, and the other sounds nothing like it, as it is the one that was would then evolve to become the Italian language, and I'm sure you all know that Italian and Portuguese are not the same language

Alexandra is extremely smart and added to her chess skills make her a formidable opponent. If all things are equal, she has the ability to win because of it.
I find it funny how there's elitism in chess. Given how chess works. Most casual players are so bad, compared to club players. They (including me) are not even playing the same game. They are playing with alphabet blocks. Club players get crushed by masters ( except for the few master level club players.) IMs crush masters. etc. Very stratified. My point is that most chess players probably look like newbs to the top 1%. And the vast majority of the top 1% are nowhere near super GM level, and won't win a single game against a super GM. So...I allow super GMs to look down at the rest of us, there's less than 50 of them I think? Everyone else? Does it make sense for them to lord over the lesser players, knowing they can't hang with the best, and except for some 5000 super GMs, GMs and IMs, everyone else is a patzer for the most part :)

I did see another video clip where Alexandra beat Andrea 3-2 in a one on one competition. Andrea must have played very well to get a 2 against Alexandra, who is a great player. Alexandra probably makes more taking money in poker taking money from Senator Cruz, and their UA-cam account than Chess.
To be fair Andrea, did very well for herself! Winning with black against stronger rated player and came in fifth, i believe. Also again some elo points. ❤
