    The R3 is such a well rounded machine and has enough juice on tap to have fun with everyday. Most 600cc/1000cc riders in India barely go past the 2nd gear here in traffic. Wheres the fun in that ?. Thanks for the no nonsense review. Cheers !

    I totally agree with you about the R3. It is a great bike and In my opinion very few riders are talented (skilled enough) to need a bike with more performance for ordinary street and highway riding. The R3 is much more enjoyable to ride and easier to control. I have owned and ridden bikes of numerous sizes from 100cc to 900cc and none of them were as fun to ride as the smaller bikes under 400cc's. Yamaha makes great bikes and the R3 or its sibling the MT-03 are more than adequate for 99 percent of riders. Just because you can get a bike with more power does not mean you should go rush out and purchase one.

    I moved down fronMT07 to R3 and feel so more confident and even more fun than the bigger engine

      Yeah. Thanks because the R3 is suited for the street. You don’t have to fight with the bike. On the R3 you can’t crank the throttle and not be worried that you’ll get thrown.

    Definitely agree. R3/R25 got everything you need. Personally, i think riding position is perfect. Not too lean forward but not to upright. Currently riding a '18 CBR250RR but i would love to have a R3/R25 for trackday. Spareparts are easier to get and cheaper than the CBR. And yea, i think it looks amazing but dont know why many people in my country says its an ugly design🤔

    I learned on a 2020 r3 just like this miss it all the time. Now I’m riding a gsxr 600

      Great bike the gsxr. Just need to be mindful of the throttle. Also. You can always go back. Riding what you enjoy is the most important thing.

    Ive owned bigger sports bikes , and sold them because they make me wanna do dumb shit. This looks very appealing to me, as I do enjoy riding, but I want it to be a bit more casual and have less chance of killing myself.

      The lower cc bikes are the best. You can give it full throttle without going too fast for the street. I got a Royal Enfield now. I love the bike for the comfort but I do miss my R3. If I had room for more bikes I would definitely get one

    In India R15 is the beginner bike then I shift to R3 now planning for cbr 650r

      If I was going to stay with a sport bike that new cbr650r would be the one I would go for. Not so much for the power but that 4 cylinder sound track.

    I owned a R3 and it's a cool bike but if you're a real rider you'll get bored with it very quickly and want to upgrade i started on a R3 and currently I'm on a Yamaha R1M

      what is safe highway speed in us, what speed most people go on highways
      r15 can do touch 70 - 75 mph comfortably, it can go even higher but it you are basically redlining at that point, top speed around 90 mph/ 145 kmph
      do people in USA go faster than 120 kmph/ 75 mph ? on highways

    • @mrrick2904
      @mrrick2904  Рік тому

      @@crescentmoon256 65 -75 mph depending on what state. They are different limits in different states.
