Awesome lesson!! Nice job breaking it down without dragging it out. Maybe should’ve done a quick lesson video on the little sweet hammer ons you added at the end
I watched a bunch of vids trying to leave this song. Yours was the most helpful..... thank you Colby. I damn near got it watching yours after hours of watching others and couldn't even learn the strumming. Great lesson bro. Thank you again.
A little bonus: When you're strumming the progression, the 2nd bar of Am can be Am7 by just lifting up the middle finger and letting the G string be open. Also the tuning is Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb if you're aiming to sound like the recording
Colby, I say this with all due respect as a public speaking instructor. I know you are nervous, but be aware of your word whiskers, such as OKAY and Alright. It might be healful for you to count all of your okays and train yourself not to use them. If you have time, try and join a Toastmasters club. Another benefit to joining a TMC is your songwriting off the cuff will improve. I hope that helps you. Thanks for your video.
first. thank you for this video it pushed me to buy a guitar so i thank you for that you rock, second, am i the only person that has watched this video approx. 182678674 times lol i finally got it down !
Not trying to be an a**hole but you are playing the arpeggios wrong bud. But there are so many different variations of this song that it’s not totally wrong. It’s just an easier version. Much easier for a beginner. And no I’m not going to make my own video. If anyone wants to see the best version check out guitar jams with Marty Schwartz.
I've been looking for a simple way to play this. Thank you so much for such a down-to-earth approach. You're a great teacher!
There's no simple way. Visit Scott Raines tutorial and you will tell
The guy sounds like RVZ himself....lol!

Awesome lesson!! Nice job breaking it down without dragging it out. Maybe should’ve done a quick lesson video on the little sweet hammer ons you added at the end
