First saw him at Ilfracombe in the days of audio cassettses and vhs videos. Still have the video. Saw Geoff so many times and will always laugh my legs off when see clips of him. A true legend.
I saw the legend Geoff Rowe 8 times. The first was in 1984 at a private birthday party in Torquay when he appeared with two strippers. A stripper came on first then Geoff and his first line was 'Ive just been out the back looking at that birds fanny'.. From that moment on I became a fan and I was more than upset when the news came though of his passing. Geoff was one of a kind and I shall always hold him in the highest of regard. This rendition of one of my favourite jokes of Geoff's is in my opinion the best not only because of its hilarity but Geoff's immaculate timing. RIP Geoff you gave us the best gift of all, the gift of laughter.
Only saw him once when I took my dad who’s a big fan. His night was made before the show. Standing at the bar Jethro came in to meet people. He came over to us and started chatting. Now my dad worked with horses when he left school. Jethro being a horse man himself stood chatting with dad for ten minutes about horses.
