Thanks for the clip, your the first person to explain the use of the little dome adapter, a lot of tradesmen, can’t comprehend how little us amateurs know, thank you

No filling scoop as per older version?

Looks great, I have a lot of stonework to repoint so i'm tempted to buy this instead of the regular RN mortar gun. If you use it for grouting tiles, does the mix have to made thinner than normal? Also do the nuts stay tight, or can they work loose during a long job? Look forward to you reply, thanks :)

      Hi James,
With the mixture we recommend: soft build sand mixed 3-4 parts sand to 1 part cement and 1 plasticizer used to bind the mix together to ensure a smooth, creamy texture. Please note that sharp building sand must be never used.
I assume you are talking about the nuts on the washer screw? If so once tightened sufficiently they will stay tight.
      Thanks

Why make the video back to front????
Show the assembly variants first, then the actual plunger to be used. Then show the application.

Hi James, if you pop onto www.toolbank.com you can order one for delivery or find a retailer close to you. I'd suggest giving them a call before you go in the current climate ;)

When you do get it... make sure you use soft sand or it just won't work properly!

Dont bother mate they are shit for pointing. Only last one - two jobs max then they fail

  • @Champ7611

Ive owned 2 of these and they failed after pointing a gable. After that they just played up and no spring back pressure absolutely useless. The only way to do it is to price a brand new one on each large pointing job.. then throw it away

Could easily be made twice the size. Less re filling and easier to fill. No idea why they were mot made bigger. But stick to pointing by hand your own hands and skill level will never let you down unlike this gun
