im gonna be honest , i did not expect waluigi to swim butterfly style , this makes him even more of a chad haha xD (butterfly is like the most difficult style in terms of effort and strenght needed)
That's the only style that I couldn't learn in swimming class
Love that most Mario characters swim in proper swimming attires and without shoes but most sonic characters go in with gloves and shoes
Also blaze going to swim being a cat with fire powers

It's also notable that I think the Butterfly takes some serious upper-body strength to pull off. It just caught my attention that *Blaze and Waluigi* use that stroke along with more muscle-bound characters like Knuckles and Donkey Kong.
Another fun note- is it my imagination, or did they model the way Tails swims based on his swimming sprite from Sonic 3?

I don't remember any instances of him actually displaying symptoms of aquaphobia outside of Sonic X, which is a separate continuity from the games/comics/other cartoons/etc.
He doesn't even look all that worried at 7:01- he just looks like _he doesn't know what he's doing,_ which honestly makes sense. Why would someone who never learned to swim take time to learn the proper way to dive into a pool?

It is ridiculous that Sega has eliminated the Miis from this game, since many people underestimate them for being simple avatars, they deserve more prominence, they must also have more interaction and dialogues with all the characters of Mario and Sonic as if you really felt inside the game. Personally I will not buy this

PD: I wish that in a future Mario and Sonic game in the Olympic games, there is a category where you can customize your Mii with voice type options, customize celebration animations, joy, sadness, anger, running or walking, your special attack and its own static, as well as different and another option where it divides the type of gender if it is male or female with their respective characteristics and animations, one where you can choose the type of skills of the type: All-Round, Speed, Power , Technique, and customize them to your liking.
Olaf Garcia True. Miis aren't just avatars, they're the best avatars. They make you feel like anyone could be in the game and they're super expressive as well. It's a shame that many Switch games don't utilize Miis as much as they used to.

Tails was able to swim in Sonic 3 (i guess), i don't know the rest.
@@dragondelsur5156 Knuckles swims in one of the Sonic Advance games (I think it was the first) if you use his glide ability underwater. He (and Rouge) also has a level or two that practically has more underwater sections than dry land in Sonic Adventure 2.
You're correct about Tails swimming in Sonic 3. I can't vouch for any of the others, although it makes sense that Vector _should_ be able to.
