Back in the win column at last, the Braves need to build off of this and start a winning streak with consistency and perhaps this will work toward building their confidence, the bats came to life today and they scored runs throughout the strecth of the game and not just in the late innings only, also López pitched a gem and if he can keep this up throughout the rest of the season he should be in the Cy Young Award discussions himself. Now finally back home to the Atl for the Ray's, GO BRAVES!!!!!!

+ REYNALDO LOPEZ FOR NL CY YOUNG! 6 SHUTDOWN INNINGS, Allowing Just 2 Hits and 1 Walk while Striking Out 8 en route to a NEEDED WIN! Lopez improves to 4-2 with an ERA of 1.69. Praying he keeps this up!
- Despite Pierce Johnson IMPLODED in the 7th, allowing a 2-Out, 3-Run Homer to give the O's life when they SHOULD NOT have been given it! Johnson's ERA now stands at an ALARMING 4.03. He's going to have to get it together, or Gwinnett will be calling soon.
+ Thankfully, Jimenez and Iglesias FINISHED THE JOB. Both Pitchers combined to Pitch a SCORELESS 8th and 9th, allowing just 2 Hits. Iglesias gets his 17th Save in the Process.
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 3 Runs, 6 HIts, 2 Walks, 9 Strike Outs, 1 Home Run Allowed.
- Despite a 3-16 Day with Runners in Scoring Position, those 3 Hits ended up being CRITICAL to a Braves Victory!
+ HAVE A DAY, OZ-MAN! 4-5 with Two Doubles, Two Singles, and an RBI! Albies steps up to a .270 Average with an OPS of .732!
+ THE BIG BEAR CONTINUES TO ROAR! 2-4 with a Walk, Single, Double, and 2 RBIs! Ozuna Stands in with a .322 Average and 1.000 OPS!
+ MONEY MIKE WITH AN UNCONVENTIONAL DAY? 1-5 with a Single, TWO Reached on FAILURES, and Two Runs Scored. Harris holds onto a .247 with an OPS of .647. Very Odd Day, but a Good One Nonetheless!
+ MATTY-O CONTINUES to find ways to CONTRIBUTE! 1-5 with an RBI Double in the 9th! Olson holds firm with a .245 Average and .771 OPS!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Adam Duvall had a 2-5 Day from the 7-Spot, while Kelenic and Arcia each notched 1 HIt. Ozuna was the ONLY Brave to earn a Walk, while d'Arnaud had an 0-4 day and Riley continues to FALL ON HIS FACE, Going 0-5. Riley is down to a DANGEROUS .220 Average and .618 OPS.
+ F---ING FINALLY. The Braves NIGHTMARE of a Road Trip ENDS WITH A WIN! Lopez was FANTASTIC, the Offense MUSTERED Runs, and the Defense didn't make any mistakes. Back to Atlanta for 6 Games in 6 Days!

I hate to be the negative nancy here but, even in the few pitches shown in this video, Johnson was hanging pitches and throwing batting practice to the orioles hitters.... and I'm wondering to myself if somebody like me can see that.... why doesn't snitker see it after the first 2 batters get on base? We're just going to leave a guy in there that's hanging shit? Because we're not on a losing streak or anything, right? 🤔

I like Matt Olson. But, send him down to Gwinnett so he can maybe hit something and get his mojo back. The 9th inning hit does not really speak for how bad he has been for months.
I would think that Austin Riley would need that more than anyone.
Balley's coverage is horrible, they do not even show the best camera angle. Thei announcer Brandon Gaudin is pathetic he does not belong in the bigs. MLB is horrible the entertainment value in these games has gone down to a 1 out of possible 10. There is no drama. These stupid fast 2 hour games are ridiculous. This game was created as a slow paced sit back and relax game not a rush it get it over with 2 hour game with no drama. The commissioner has ruined it. And while I am at it Snitker is horrible too. He is so bad the year they won the championship he had a stacked lineup but could not get them going so they had to go get 4 offensive bats to win it. It was Chipper Jones that had them hitting lights out last year, now he has stopped coaching hands on and it shows big time. Brian Snitker, pppfffhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the fuck is Iglesias celebrating for? He, in typical fashion, wanted to lose the game again. I hope he leaves next season.
Are there any other relievers you want to see go after this season? I can think of one or two others but they don't include Iglesias who has done a fantastic job as our closer, your criticism of him is uncalled for and unwarranted.
