- I know there is already a Emu ~For my dear~ translation, but it has subs all over Gackt and I wanted a clean performance :)

This song in fucking amazing.
I was 13 when I first heard this song. I'm 35 now and it still takes me back to that time and place.
for those of you who don't know, Gackt was in a band called malice Mizer. He wrote this song for Kami who was the drummer, he died in his sleep and was on of Gackt's best friends. Since he was on tour, he didn't hear about his death and was unable to attend the funeral. That is why there is so much emotion in his voice.

Emu for my dear was written for his ex GF whom died from Leukemia, if i'm not wrong
U+K was written for Kami.
Although i'm not SO sure right now, better check.

Also, never knew Kami died in his sleep, I do know he died from a rupture of anuvrism, which basically floods your brain with blood.
It's one of the most effed up effed way to go... Or so I think...
Also Bulma's Seiyuu (in dragon ball) died in an horrible way....
those tragics death are haunting me to these day, such an effed up way to leave :(
Also also; kami will forever be missed by a lot of people obviously, but when you watch "HAMON" or "'REGRET" both malice mizer live performance with Kami on drums and gackt on piano, you can but just wish to hear something just 1% as much phenomenal elsewhere....
I like how he managed to sing this less desperately and more tenderly. I don't want to think it's just because he was tired or anything. I hope he slowly accepted everything.
I love this. You can feel the sincerity behind it, and you know that Kami is smiling down from Heaven and taking Gackt's outstretched hand in his. As Stephen King once said about Heaven: "They must have one hell of a band!"

now i listen to this, it's like.. my stomach feels weird, my throat... just so many emotions when i listen this. I'm allmost crying... Gackt is just amazing. i wished Ukyō Kamimura was still alive and well... sadly, he left this world so soon, too soon....

I knew gackt when I was 12 years old ,now im 19 . I won't and I'll never forget him .. his music is so one of a kind .. this song make me love gackt more , everybody around me they say grow up how you can love a music like this but nah I like his music ..
