All sports was better back then. I was a Earnhardt fan even when he was losing. However I did like other drivers. Gant, DW, Wallace. It was always a good show.

@MetalMastodon as do I, I like the way Richmond looks without the stands all the way around. Bristol should remove about 80k seats put the building back in the corner and billboards.
So sad that DW won only 1 last time at Darlington ( next week-rain delay) that season. His last CUP win. That's 2 wins that season with fuel mileage. Oh I'm pretty sure they found something to bend the rules a little to get the best fuel mileage. Lol. Either way, thank you for making this 18 year old ( at this time ) so happy that season.
Not just Dale. That entire generation of drivers. I am Bill Elliott fan. If something happened to his car I pretty much liked the entire field. I think most people did back then.

Yeah, progressive banking fever biggest victim. All other places it did well, but here it removed exactly what made Bristol the best track of Nascar. Very retarded decision.

Back before nascar became a joke
thanks brian france!!
I was at this race with my dad. We sat in turn 3. Met Bill Elliott and Terry Labonte
Not to forget: This was Alan Kulwicki's last Winston Cup Bristol race, RIP a wonderful champion.
Long live *Underbird* ☝🏆
ok
Man that opening brings me back, it gave me goosebumps.
I miss Bob Jenkins, Ned Jarrett, and Benny Parsons

That’s no joke. Back then, tickets were about $25 or $30. Now they’re ridiculous.

There are two eras of NASCAR - before and after the repaving of Bristol
Before Dale Earnhardt's Sr's death and after
John Boy Enough of your complaining, I like the new Bristol with different grooves because just one is not as good.
Gianni you had to fight for the bottom groove and it lead to more action. So I’ll complain all I want
Who's this "Jeff Gordon" BGN driver they reference at Lap 9? He'll never amount to anything.

For the interview, the race and the car. He dominated this one. The Western Auto was one of my favorite he ever drove. It fit his personality.

Just an honest question. What makes NASCAR "now" something that's "crappy"?
Bruton Smith messed up Bristol. He's trying to do the same thing in drag racing with the four-wide b*******
