This video shows the scenic route of the Kalka Shimla Toy train, this journey takes around 5 hours to reach Shimla from Kalka railway station by toy train.
All the trains begin in the morning hours from Kalka railway station towards Shimla, you need to pre-book the seats in toy train by visiting railway booking website or app i.e. www.irctc.co.in
As of now booking gets open before one month of journey date, to get available seats you should book the tickets as earliest.
There is no AC in the toy train but in summer it will be cold as it is famous for its good environment and temperature.
