I about had a heart attack when that sheep fell, I thought it was a goner. Thank you Alex for rescuing the poor sheep ❤
Wrap hammer handles with neon duct tape, you'll be able to see when you walk away.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO. IT HAS GIVEN ME A NEW PURPOSE TO CLEAN UP MY LIFE AND DO IT LITTLE BY LITTLE. OVERWHELMING CAN BE TOUGH ON ANYONE. SO I APPLAUDE BOTH OF YOU. EVEN BUNTY CAN GET HAPPY JUST GOING ON THE ROOF OR BEING WITH THE CHICKENS SUNNING THEMSELVES. LOTS OF POTENTIAL WOOD TO BE HAD, JUST TAKE CARE NOT TO GET OVERWHELMED. LOVE SEEING YOUR LAND AND CHECK OUT THAT RED SKY AT NIGHT SAILORS DELIGHT. BEAUTIFUL SKY. THE SHEEP FALLING GAVE ME SUCH A JOLT, PROBABLY YOU TOO WHEN IT FELL, BUT WAS OK. NAUGHTY SHEEP. PUSS PUSS WAS AGRIVATED BY BUNTY INTEREST IN HIM. LUCKLY, YOU BUSTED THEM UP BEFORE A RIOT BROKE OUT. WELL SEE YOU IN THE NEXT VIDEO AND PLEASE STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY THANKS ❤️ 🙏
I would need a bourbon after the stuck sheep. Poor baby. Good job on saving it. ❤
Oh Bless your hearts…I am so sorry that I was harping on you two not creating jewelry videos. You have had such struggles with sheep, Major Storm, problems with your centuries old home, moving furniture, tools, etc from room to room and generally just trying to keep your heads above water! Thank God you are both ok and your wonderful temperaments have shone through it all. Alex your sheep roundup was absolutely hilarious, apart from the one that got caught in fence…a few breathless moments. You two are amazing, strong, and resilient women. ❤️🇨🇦
Shouldn’t the owners of the sheep come and fetch them?
I was watching the news about the storm, and thinking of you two. Glad you came through it in one piece. Things can be replaced or repaired, people cannot.
The backside of a peacock with his tail feathers up is not what I was expecting. 😭😂
So happy to see your beautiful peacock finally showing off his tail feathers. Stay warm and snuggled in.
The footage of your encounter with the stuck sheep should be a short. It will go viral. Omg, great video! Thank you, stay warm and safe✨🌸V
With the Benny Hill music in the background 😂
Hello from california , today and last night we got our first rain ! After a devestating fire storm where many of our friends lost EVERYTHING ! Because of the destructive winds . I am very happy for you because it could have been so much worse ! Be thankful and be happy 👍
Poor girl caught in the fence. My heart was in my throat. Good on you ladies with your ingenuity in working with what you’ve got. I thoroughly enjoy everything you do!❤
Mother Nature is a force you can’t reckon with,so glad you ladies are safe, great video!
Owning your own home there is always something to repair and replace constantly, but at least it's yours and your forever home,May God Bless you always Ladies and always be Safe,💕🙏👍💪
We used to allow the neighbor sheep to graze our fields until they ate all of our flowers in our surrounding yard 😂😂 We finally had to put our foot down & block them. They’re smart, good luck. 😊 Oh & make sure to tie bright ribbon to the chicken wire, they can’t see the wire very well. 😂
Glad you both got through it safely I am sure the chickens will appreciate a new start without sheep vandalism. The new year list of “to do” is a tradition for us all it seems.
Glad that you, your animals, and the house weathered the storm with little damage.
I cannot believe what you have been trough. Absolutely insane. You've got enough to do inside and now a chicken house to build. Thanks God you are safe though. Those blooming sheep are a menace. Turbulent doesn't describe it. You are so incredibly resourceful ladies. Thank you for sharing and keep safe and well. ❤
You can use the roof of the chicken shed to cover the log shed xxx A bonus in all the chaos xx
We just got rid of our sheep and are rewilding . Sheep are terrible ,impossible even without a dog.
The storm must have been terrifying but all can be repaired . It missed us thankfully , just strong winds . Be careful around fallen trees though , there is a lot of tension in those snapped trunks ready to release Take care and thank you for the catch up of your restoration , it is so interesting to follow xx❤
*Yay you all survived the storm... the chook run and fences can all be repaired or replaced.🙂 The inside renos can slowly be sorted and done... but the main thing is that you both and the pets all survived 🙂nz*
We are not laughing. We have sympathy for you
Welcome back . I love this show. You make even the mundane things interesting to watch. 😊 l looked every week to see if you had put up a video. And this one was lovely and long, so l settled down with a blanket and a nice hot cup of tea . Ans snuggled in to watch you both hard-working ladies.😊great ,thank you .please make more. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aw xx
Keep the chickens and yourselves safe. Glad there was minimal damage.
I wish that I could smell a Christmas Tree 🎄 🎄 all year!
Waking up to that smell is amazing..
I'm puzzled why those sheep are your problem??? It should be the sheep owner's responsiblility to get them off your property as well as repair any damage done on your property. Of course we want to get along with our neighbors, but still.....they should be notified so they can take responsibility.
How handsome your peacock has become! Love watching your videos.
Careful walking around in the wooded areas. There could be some widow makers still hanging around.
Please stay safe, hope no more damage has occurred xxx Please move that purveyor wood with the nail facing upwards! It's at the place where the cat meets the peacock x
Don’t burn any pine in your wood furnace. The pine pitch will cost your chimney and you could have a big fire.
Worried about you two when I saw, on the weather channel, that the UK and Scotland were about to experience some nasty weather. Thanks for filming it before, during, and the after math, of the storm. So scary. Glad you were alright.
For the future I would move the the chickens the top garden in the lee of the wall for protection. Also think about moving the wood store nearer the house x
That new door is gorgeous! As is man-shrew's tail.
Man shwoo is looking magnificent 🦚. I was thinking of you when I saw the red warnings but I’m so pleased you weren’t affected to badly I never knew sheep were so troublesome 😲. Thank you both 💕
I'm so glad you are all ok. Stay safe ladies.
Ladies you amaze me! Thank you so very much for an amazing video! ☺️
You might want to invest in a good herding dog. Our border collie Gus would have loved the challenge, Bless him.
I just love your channel and you and your mom. I can’t get enough. Thank you for sharing your interesting life.❤
I'm thankful you're safe through the storm 🙏 ❤
Glad your all safe 😊 ladies I literally had been wondering what ever happened to part 2 of the craft room remodle?? 😅 now I know 😊❤ good thing you have the guest room finished to sleep in Alex 😊
Man shwoo is glorious!
My goodness...so many events piled together. So glad you remain safe, even if it brings more and unexpected work.❤❤❤❤ great video.
I’m watching this from the BOP in NZ. It’s nearly 30C today where we are. I really feel for you. There are many things I miss about Scotland…. But the weather is not one. I also feel for your poor wee chooks. I put ice cream containers of ice in my little coop for my ladies - it melts overnight and they have extra water. I have to put blocks of the same in the pond for the goldfish. Different problems! We get storms that do the same, we had one last month that knocked a few big trees over in town. The rain was thunderous. They were gone quickly - free firewood!!🪵 I really admire your attitude and positivity. You don’t seem to get too fussed about things. Life is too short. That’s why I watch, you are honest and immediate. Thank you 😊😊😊😊
So glad that sheep came free of the fence, that was scary. Just imagine the storms your old house has weathered in 400 years. Glad the damages were few.
I wish I wish I was young and healthy enough to help you. Love you Alex..
Well, your lawn is aerated now, at least. lol. 🐑
Seriously, I wish I lived in the sticks like this, I'm in the city and it's so dirty and loud. I need this beauty.
My thoughts exactly free aeration!
🤗Thank you both for showing us the storm. 🌨The beauty surrounding you is helpful to push on knowing your goals👍❤ I have had horses myself and cow to milk, and have "farm sat" for some friends with a large farm. You are brave and strong, beautiful women and you are a joy to watch🌄
I had wonder how you two were faring with the storm and now I know. I lost a lovely old Russet apple tree in my small orchard luckily it missed all the other trees in there. We will want to see that doll you were making Gail. Love the new bench what a good idea that you can change the height. If I want to work standing up I do it on the ironing board. What a wonder display your shroo put on for us I have been waiting to see his magnificent tail. Stay safe you two sending love and wishes.❤
Those cheeky little sheep!
Welcome back I have been missing you both.stay safe and take care I hope the weather improves for you soon ❤️
Manshwoo is rather magnificent
Hi from America. Always interesting to see the both of you. I'm glad you are safe. Broken things are easier to fix than broken bodies. Take care and stay safe.
Oh my goodness! Nasty storm. Had me in fits though with the sheep round up!
Thanks for the update.
Be well ladies.
We are in a wind storm right now! It’s a beautiful sunny day at the moment and the trees are bending and rocking! I live in a chalet style home and the front half is all windows, so I have a front row seat to the action! We only have a storage shed, and I had it bolted down to a sled bottom, so I could move it around it need be, we have a shed the houses all our small water toys and flotation items, and fishing supplies. A pergola, and garage. Our biggest fears are our trees!
So I understand your fears!
I’m sure you’re all cleaned up and back to normal now!
You two are the hardest working women!
Please be careful! ❤from🇨🇦
Oh how I have missed your Lost Tower Diaries 🧡 I am glad you are all well from the storm 🧡💛
Can you call the owner of the Sheep 🐑. Lol Lol u😅 The reason I suggest that, in the movies they have a sheep dog that gathers them up. I'm from the USA ☺️❤️❤️ Lol ❤ We deal more in cattle ❤❤❤
This video went from extremely beautiful to down right terrifying. So glad you came through the storm...hope your chickens will be all right!
We here in Florida had severe winter weather last week. Some places had 9 inches and we got 1-2 inches. Way to cold 🥶 for me. Be safe and stay warm
You ladies work so hard. Your amazing.❤❤❤❤❤
A collie you are not, Alex.
A tip in nailing flimsy pasrts: Have the othe person hold a sledgehammer to the other side of the part. The big mass keeps the wood from flexing away.
Windstorm are terrifying. We had a tornado pass close to where I live this year, but no damage, just close enough to hear it. I'm so glad your damage wasn't to life and limb, but sitting through it is awful. Stay safe and warm.
Glad you survived ok. Weather sure is getting worse by the year! Hope this next storm doesn't cause any more damage. Stay safe ladies xx
The magnetic North Pole is shifting.
Heavens knows what the weather will be like for the next few years.
@mzpatintexas8329 it's a scary thought! Here in Cyprus winters are milder & summers hotter. Storms are fast & furious!
@@tanithmessenger3581 And now that I’m at that age group I can’t handle the heat or the cold.
It’s,...can I say odd, maybe it’s not the right word to use. But for years all government have use that humans were causing climate change.
But in fact we went into grand solar minimum in early 2000...that’s when the sun cools. Yet,... we have not been informed by the Governments of each country. Just that our climate change is our fault. And all the changes in the weather patterns can be attribute to the sun cooling. Then there are the CME,solar flares that erupts out of the black part of the sun. Even if a tiny bit of these flares hit the magnetic shield,or a direct hit ,..the shield collapses...deforms ,and we can have high winds or a mild hit, we can have rough weather. If the flares go through the mantle into the core we can have earthquakes and or volcanic activities . Yet,... the media or our Governments have not informed the public of this. Now the magnetic North Pole is shifting which it does for thousands of years..but it has sped up. Our Pole could flip..soon or many years from now. Unfortunately,...this next storm will much worse...In my area.... but we have at lest another week before it will hit. The slip streams keep shifting...I’m hoping it will reform ,which it did ,on the last storm,..which moved more south Texas.then moved back up towards North East. I sure do not want another winter storm of 2021.... the temperature in my home reached - 5 Fahrenheit ,..everything froze in my home. My 30 gallon fish tank was a solid block of ice. I did survive that freeze after the grit failed... but it was painful,.. hundreds didn’t...most of them like me were the elderly.
So glad you all made it thru the storm ok it was a massive storm....things are replaceable..lovely people like you both are not...I saw footage of the damage done by the storm ..you got lucky...as for how the snow shut things down..we just got 40 centimeters when the weatherman said we were getting 2 to 4 centimeters and we went to work the morning after like nothing happened...but that is life in eastern Canada...Karl
Well, I guess counting sheep at night to help you fall asleep is out lol. I'm relieved you are all okay! Sorry for all the repairs you need to do now, especially the stonewall as it is hard work.
I’m just glad that you ladies, chickens and schwoos are safe, 2025 is going to be a busy year for you, tfs x Julie
I glad you two are ok and all of your pets are ok too bless to all❤❤❤
I am happy that you are ok
Holy moly! What a storm!!! Aside from that, man shru is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
Stanley products are the best as far as I’m concerned!
Bless your hearts, big storms are kind of a big challenge to get through. its good that to know how strong you are as a team. You will be ship shape in no time! Thanks to you both for sharing your corner of the world with us!
Wow your Peacock is beautiful in his full attire. I loved the flexi desk. I didn’t know such a thing existed. Very nice.
Well. I didnt know you had another channel Alex! I knew right away it was your voice. I love your clever videos so I am sure I will enjoy this too. I will view and like all of them and hope it helps you just a little. Cheers! From the center of New York state. The good part! Take care.
So far this month we got 65" of snow and then the temp dropped to minus 8 F one morning. The 20 below and colder will come soon. Count your blessings! That is taller than me!
Im glad you're all safe and doing well 😊🎉🎉🎉❤
Amazing what a strom can do to hearth and home. Some desperate need of regular maintenance to areas. Scattered piles of "supplies", woods are peppered with debris , several sheds filled with stuff. SO much to keep up not even mentioning the house. Take one room at a time.
Very interesting. I feel your pain,as a small farmer myself, it feels liek somethign needs repaired all the time.
I was wondering how the both of you were in this foul weather. Hoping you were both safe. Fortunately the strong winds only knocked a small part of my fencing down . Which I will have to repair. Gail Alex you are out in the woolly wilds open land so Please be safe I would not want any harm to come to you. The winds have been causing havoc up and down the country. According to the weather forecasters they say more on its way. 2 remarkable ladies.
Beautiful sunset ❤ and beautiful display by man shwoo ❤
I feel for you. So much damage. But you are such smart girls. You can mend it.👍🥰
Well, look at it positively your lawn has been aerated by the sheep because all lawns need to be aerated so that the water an get in and they can get the nutrients that they need
Not gonna lie, I totally experienced some PTSD seeing that storm! I'm a Floridian and was in the direct path of Hurricane Helene last fall. We were only about 40 miles inland from where that one made landfall. The most terrifying one I've been in for the last 50 yrs!I'm so sorry you had to go through that! And glad y'all are ok!
the opening with the chasing of the sheep was very engaging.. it would win an oscar for sure.. i had to stop myself from laughing
Wow! Glad y'all are safe! Never have enough work to do...
Glad you made it through the storm! Take care.
Aren't the owners responsible for the damage? Responsible for keeping them on their own fields? That's the way it is here.
You guys live in some beautiful country , just beautiful!
Thank you for sharing so much! Thankful you are well!
So glad you two are safe!! Unfortunately more work to care of that halts your progress on the renovation process inside!! You two Always have such a positive outlook and always ready to get busy working hard to make things better!! God Bless you both!! ❤
Such a magnificent tale it’s beautiful
I feel your pain! We have acreage in kansas, and we have been freezing. Just trying to keep the waters for the horses and chickens from freezing solid has been a choir. This week will be in the 40s and 50s. I'm looking forward to all the snow melting. We had 13 inches of snow, 2 weeks ago. I'm so glad to see you and the animals survived the storm❤
The holey yard is actually good. It is aerating the soil for better growth. I would love to come help straightening the fencing and property!
Happy new year lassies, love seeing yer wee faces, the storm hit us in falkirk pretty bad tree's fallen everywhere roofs torn to shreds.... ❤
we had that too. the calm erie feeling darkforboding feeling
The sheep escapades were adorable
Thanks
Oh my all the drama of sheep, gales and broken things. I was wondering how you were fairing when we got a fair bit of it in Yorkshire. Another heartwarming film...thank you and stay safe!
We were in the red area, central Scotland. It was quite frightening at times but thankfully no damage here. Lots of damage around us though. Glad you didn't have too much damage also.
Very happy you two girls are safe! The wind damage isn’t too bad, could have been so much worse! Seems this will be a year of rebuilding all over the world, especially here in the states, what with the devastating fires in California and hurricanes on the east coast. There was a person I saw on another feed that said they had…had 115mph winds in Scotland, not sure where they were located, they didn’t say. Hopefully they are ok. Stay safe, take care, stay warm this winter!! ❄️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, well that was one heck of a windy storm. I was half expecying Dorothy flying past in her house.
Joking aside, I'm so relieved, concidering what could have happened, that you were safe and the anims survived. You will have a great big pile of wood to use after those trees are sorted out. That would be interesting to watch. How that massive tree would be felled. Hopefully not injuring the old native tree.
Its so comforting too, knowing puss puss, wasnt still homeless.
Your a lucky boy, not having to face that storm and that snow out in the wild.
Those sheep, oh my word. Patients of a saint is needed to deal with them. That one that got stuck in the wired fence, was so lucky. I actually yelped with you when it fell down the slope. Rounding sheep up, needs a well trained sheep dog. Its agony otherwise. They never do what you ask of them. No matter how hard you try to help them.
Good luck with the repairs. Roll on spring. 😊xxx
Happy Hogmanay !
