    I made the cheeseburger soup last night and everyone loved it, including my adult daughter that doesn't like soup. 😂 I added zucchini to get some more veggies in it.

    Such yummy recipes! Could I do the PBJ bars with blueberries (my husband’s favorite) & coconut sugar?
    Also, thanks for a cool little trick I noticed you did….. a light spray of avocado oil in the jar before measuring out the honey makes the honey slip right out! You’re a genius!

    • @healthyelizabeth
      @healthyelizabeth  11 місяців тому +1

      You can absolutely use blueberries, raspberries, a mix, as well as coconut sugar! That trick helps with so many things, I'm glad you caught it. 😊👍🏼

    Hi from Alaska! I am really enjoying your videos. After your comment about beef, I am wondering how you feel about game meat? We eat a lot of moose and caribou and sometimes deer in place of store bought ground beef and steaks and stew meats. (Also these are good recipes for picky husbands too! 😜 )

    When I make a bechamel based sauce I always put in a little nutmeg….it elevates the sauce to another level in my opinion 😊. I thought you maybe would like to try that sometime 😊. I also mix broth and milk to make my sauce….I like it much more like that ❤️😘

    I'm grateful there are so many gluten free products available for us. I have found that some food products with gluten give me a tummy ache, so lately I've looked for gluten free, especially for pasta. Blackberries are my favorite berry. I love all fruit, but if I could only choose one, it would be blackberries. I am going to make the blackberry bars today. TY for sharing with us. Oh, and I'm so happy that 90% of time time, I purchase the same brand as you!

    • @healthyelizabeth
      @healthyelizabeth  11 місяців тому +1

      It’s so helpful! I remember growing up that the people I knew who were gluten free had very limited options compared with today 🙏🏼
      I feel the same about blackberries! I’m going to try to get a few berry bushes this year for sure. Thanks for watching today! 😊

    You would love the bone broth hot chocolate recipe that’s floating around on IG right now. Half bone broth half whole milk then vanilla and cocoa powder to taste, plus a pinch of salt- and you can also add collagen or gelatin to up the protein it’s so good and my kids have no idea

    You can use chia seeds or grass fed beef gelatin to make a “quick jam” vs flour.
    Jelly is actually made with just the fruit juice, jam is the whole fruit!

    Hi Elizabeth, do you have any non-cow cheese substitutions that would work well with the creamy cheeseburger soup recipe (goat or sheep?). My kids are allergic to cow dairy, and I would love to try it. I am going to try coconut milk in lieu of the heavy cream unless you have a better plant-based recommendation? TIA
