Depending on the range, the bullet, and all that, it's possible that the bullet either plugged the wound pretty well and/or cauterized it somewhat (so as to stop the bleeding).
These officers and civilians that helped them are heroes. Finally something that's although scary has a good ending and lives saved. My neighbor went into the house with his partner, and the son proceeded to hit my neighbor in the head with a machete. As it was a very small space and a matter of life and death, my neighbors partner fired his gun at the son and unfortunately shot my neighbor in the hand. My neighbor still ended up making a full recovery and went back to police work! He was genuinely a wonderful human. So sad I had to move away :(

When my man got stabbed protecting me, he knew to stay calm so your heart don’t pump fast causing you to bleed more, my man was stabbed previously years before and miraculously pulled through and we walked 1.5km to our home and he was 1mm off from it being fatal!! We now live off reserve and have beautiful baby girl together living happily! God is so good and so glad that he was ok and that this bystander in video kept cop CALM ! Thank you to the cops for their service and dedication in keeping us safe!
To be fair, It was birdshot. It's meant for killing birds. Don't get me wrong, it could still likely be lethal and certainly hurts but it isn't a super human feat.

in that first one the woman really did the opposite of help in that situation, when somebody is hurt like that you need to keep them calm and make sure they stay awake, that first bystander was doing a great job.
God bless that man that came to officer Quincy afterwards. He did everything in his power to make that situation better for him even without knowing proper first aid to bullet wounds. I heavily recommend Americans get trained in first aid especially focused on CPR and bullet/stab wounds. Always keep a first aid kit that includes things like bandages, antiseptics, and adhesive tapes in your car. You'll never know when you might need to save a life, even if it's your own.

I give my heartfelt thank you to all the officers in this video and I'm happy everyone survived and I know how it feels to feel like you aren't gonna make it after being shot or fatally wounded I was deployed for 2 years in Afghanistan and got shot in my right thigh 4 inches above the artery

@-Cocell I have been shot before, and I can confirm that adrenaline takes over like crazy. You won't feel that until maybe 3 minutes after the fact.

I absolutely feel so bad for that officer in the first part, he seemed so nice and he even gave the suspect multiple chances. Sadly he got shot, but it was fine in the end. I wish that the cop would not show any mercy and taze that suspect after the first warning..
