I am a little late learning Naomi passed away a few days ago. I don't watch tv and stopped watching or listening to the news in 2020. Guess if the world comes to an end, I'll be the last to know. Anyway, this was so sad to learn. Their music in the 1990s was my 'go to.' Naomi, I pray God has you singing on cloud tops today. The world misses you.

This song came out the year my dad died.I cry every time I hear it, because my dad was the best story teller. I miss Naomi (RIP) my grown sons and grand kids miss his stories.As do i. I was lucky to see them in concert.

Gets me every time. I love how you can clearly see how proud Naomi is of her daughter. No doubt she has heard wynona sing this song a thousand times before, but she looks almost in awe. So touching.
Also, my grandpa was the best and last of a great era in my family, and I wandered and struggled for years after he passed. I have been learning to play this on the guitar, but everytime I try to sing it, my voice just fails.

Me too my friend, this world has gone crazy, and I miss sitting in old lawn chairs listening to him. It just breaks my heart now my father has passed as well and I watch my kids go through the same pain. Life is hard

I'd ove to talk to my Grandpas. But they're home now and have most their babies home to with them again including my mom n dad and someday I'll be there.... God bless. I'd like to send out some love to everyone who's lost the older generations in their families and are nervous stepping in as "the old people" in the family. It's not easy all the time for me. Esp without children. I was never blessed in that particular way.

I love the Judds too! I would listen to Grandpa more often but I am embarrassed when my husband and children laugh at me ! I am ver lessed my grandson sins with me ! Although he replaced the word grandpa with grandma .

The first time I ever heard this song, I thought the Judds lived an idyllic life. I had no idea that they’d endured so many heart-breaking tragedies.
If there is anything "positive" you can say about what just happened, at least a whole new generation will be introduced to the Judds' music.
Makes you appreciate the purity of their voices and harmonies.
The songs were like a story with a simple structure for EZ sing-along.
Also, the problem with depression, a "disease" Naomi said she struggled with her entire life will get more attention as well.

Grandpa Tell Me Bout the good old days The Judds the song is just priceless along with this performance we don't know what's going on in people's lives but these two when they got together and sing it made me forget about all my problems and I'm listening to it right now with tears in my eyes growing up and listening to The Judds those were the good old days but today their music is priceless rest in peace special lady you had a heart of gold you've earned your wings happy trails
