@@agamagreen Thanks for your reply! Can you explain what Turkish release is? Is this the same as Slavic release where you are using two fingers under the arrow to draw?
@@BackpackingVideos It’s difficult to explain in a few words… you can see me doing it (as good as I can): draw with the thumb until the elbow is inline with the arrow and release with Khatra (I use forward Khatra for more accuracy). I bet, that there a variations in the Turkish draw, that I’m not aware of… A master of Turkish draw is Murat Özveri ☺️ Best wishes! 🏹🔆
It seems to be a nice bow, but mine has a very noticeable amount of vibration compared to my Korean bows, but it seems the group OK and it’s fun to shoot, it also seems to be somewhat slower
Hi Leverguns! How strong is your bow and what style do you shoot this bow? Indeed, I don’t feel noticeable vibration while shooting… I’m doing Khatra which leads to no feeling of vibration at all. I can imagine, that you feel a little if you shoot mediterranean style… Regarding speed: yeah, that’s a tricky topic! We all use different arrows and not seldom archers use lighter arrows for speed tests, whereas I usually use heavier arrows… This Tatar bow has an average good speed compared to others, but it’s not a speed monster. You can enhance speed by a special way of shooting the Turkish style, pushing the bow at release forward. I can’t do this properly, so I can’t show you, unfortunately… Hope, you enjoy your little Tatar bow nevertheless! Best wishes! 🏹🔆
@@Leverguns50 Arrow weight should be fine (I think 12gpp is not required, 9gpp should be ok also). Maybe your impression results from your experience with other bows, that accelerate the arrows faster 😁 You may try another arrow with weight of ~ 9gpp. Best wishes and keep up the fun! 🏹🔆

@@agamagreen I just built some arrows to use with it, about 13 gpp. They have quite a high FOC because of the 100g point inserts I used (with 100 grain points) to achieve the weight.
