Right on just wired mine and set it to 5, haven’t seen the idle come down enough for the box to actually show the mode well the car is running. Do you know the dyno results the car got on mode 5?
Hi there, I've installed an ATEMU on my JZS171. Everything is working as it should except I've lost reverse lights and 'R' light on my dash when selecting reverse... I'm assuming this is due to the cutting of the R pinout/wire from the ecu. If I were to reconnect the R wire, will this effect the functionality of the ATEMU? Thanks in advance.
Hello yeah I think what you have done is also cut the Reverse wire to the car and not only the Reverse wire to the ECU. The not seeing Reverse on the dash is 100% correct. But the Reverse wire to the car itself should still be intact.
@@PhoenixEngineManagement Im actually in the same boat with another friend also experiencing this. It worked for a period of time (1 month) then stopped. quite strange coincidence if it is. Trying to trace it at the moment. Would you be able to confirm that the wires on the gearbox were wired into the reverse switch and that outputs to the reverse lights directly, it shouldn't include the ECU or the ATEMU.
No problem it's a device to fit to fool the ECU into thinking it still has an Auto Gearbox when people carry out a Manual Gearbox Swap on a JZS171 1JZ-GTE VVT-i
i am thinking of using this for my jzx110 swapped benze. I am using jzs171 ECU without immobilizer. Car runs fine, would this emulator be perfect for this combination?
Hello Romeo. Yeah if you are using a JZX110 ECU that was originally for an Auto vehicle then this device will get rid of all the codes and make the ECU run Correctly.
Thanks so much! I’m just about to install my atemu on my jzs171 ecu
Did you figure what mode these like in L?
Hey Rick yeah it is Mode 5 that runs the best so Connect L instead of 2 and push the button till you are in Mode 5.

Recently received mine , looking forward to getting it up & running.
Can you explain what is actually altered when the modes are switched?
Yeah so the different modes change the relationship between the engine RPM and the input speed sensor NCO.
Got a link to download of the actual papers be nice
Looking at the image in the instructions, there are no scissors next to the N, 4 & 3 wires.. Should they be cut or left alone?
u ever figure it out?

Is it still best to connect to "L"? And mode 5? Is there any data or dyno sheets showing any difference?
Hello Justin at this stage there is a video that does demonstrate the different modes. Here it is ua-cam.com/video/EGx4TEmi16k/v-deo.html
I’m gonna be that guy and ask what’s it actually for
I’m new to the crown scene only had my wagon a month

@@PhoenixEngineManagement So that means NO in this particular combination
engine: jzx110
ecu:jzs171 crown ecu
