    I am pretty sure it was "walking with monsters" not "walking with beasts".
    Amazing podcast Synapsids are such a cool group.

    Malleus is easy to remember, think malleus - mallet - a kind of hammer (it's the hammer)

    Also sidenote is it consensus that Dracorex is Pachy?

      Not sure if it's a solid consensus that Dracorex is juvenile Pachycephalosaurus, but it's certainly a popular hypothesis and has been supported by a number of recent studies.

      I know there has been conflicting opinions on this. I think one point of contention was the possibility that specimens of dracorex (or Stygimoloch) might not be contemporary based on the age of the specimens.

    Proto/Stem Mammals is also a poor term since it implies that their lineage was destined to lead to modern mammals.
