Thank you for providing such an in-depth review of the Ajazz K870T keyboard. Your analysis of the build quality, typing experience, and software functionality was very informative and helpful in making an informed decision about this product. I appreciate your honest assessment of the pros and cons of the keyboard, and I agree that the Ajazz K870T has a lot of great features that make it a solid choice for a budget mechanical keyboard. However, I also understand your frustration with the limited customization options in the software and the lack of dedicated media controls. Overall, I think the Ajazz K870T is a great option for anyone looking for a mechanical keyboard that offers a good balance of affordability and quality. Thank you again for the review, and I look forward to seeing more content from SwitchandClickOfficial in the future!
Loving the content, recently fell in love with keyboards after my old one broke, and this channel has made me learn a ton about keyboards, as well as allowed me to realise what type of keyboard i like.
When will there finally be a company that takes the time to tick all the boxes? - 65% - PBT keycaps - Flip up feet - Usb Type C - Braided cable - RGB - Firmware on keyboard - Firmware dowloadable but good interface - Stabs prelubed - Switches prelubed - Hotswap 3pin and 5pin - No plastic case - No flex - 150$ or less How? How can it be so difficult? Is there nobody taking notes? Razer? Ducky? HyperX? Just make the perfect keyboard already
this is why i want to build a custom keyboard but im not sure if i could fully customize the rgb like the for example what the anne pro 2 has to offer w/ their rgb
I'm using it for a couple months now, it is a very nice mechanical keyboard with a lot of features. I love this keyboard (red switch) very much, except for the small button on the back that easily broken.
I found this keyboard at a goodwill for $3 and it works. My first mechanical keyboard as well. Thank you on how to tell me how to change the RGB and telling me there is a software download
So I received this keyboard earlier today. Aesthetically, its a nice simple keyboard. I loved how the keys felt. However, I ordered the black switches and after a while, my hands were hurting. Also, the BT connection kept disconnecting. I read in the book that on BT mode, it has a sleep timer of 5 minutes while on BT mode, which means if I'm gaming and then don't type for just 5 mins (which I oft do as I will go afk sometimes) it'll disconnect and then sometimes it doesn't reconnect. I have to sit there and go through the whole reconnection thing. This was after just a couple of hours of ownership. I didn't have any issues with it plugged in but I wanted a wireless keyboard.... So, back it goes and my search for a reliable keyboard continues :( I've been using my Redragon Vishnu with the 2.4g connector for over a year now, and its been wonderful but I want something new, and hopefully between 85 to 100.
Agree bt 3.0 is way to slow BT 5.0 or bt 4.0 low latency or 2.ghz would be great. But lets not forget we need a good receiver also. Having BT 5 low latency keyboard with crappy usb bt reaciever is pointless
Betty I bought this keyboard, changing the switches, stabs and keycaps. I just really wanted a hot swap KB with wireless connection that I could quiet down and and for a 4 year warranty from amazon, worth it. It's a starter into a bigger world for me and not bad for the 58 USD i spent on it. While not perfect, it's a perfect starter for anyone dipping his/her toes into this custom arena.
@@kiwiripe0 I just got my Crytox tonight to lube these brown switches this week, my version switches do come out. The switch puller that comes in the box is woefully inadequate to the job. I just used the puller I got online and I pulled a few switches out, no drama at all.
@@SwitchandClickOfficial just listened to the whole review and i totally agree with your review ahaha I'm using brown switches. When i bought this the price was around 50$ (around 2,400 php). All you said were all i noticed too ahaha the software was ok. you can use its actual one or the one for rakk lam pro. So far it's safe (but it was really sketchy downloading the actual one, if ever try the rakk lam pro one if you ever try) Whatever you set for RGB using the software before you disconnect it is saved, well until you change it again that is ahaha there are macro settings but by using the software. Bluetooth connection is ok, your right, so far its been ok when i game using Bluetooth (but i prefer it wired) but yeah wire it up. The pairing was confusing in the beginning. but once you set it up its easy to switch between the devices. The extra keycaps, you and i have the same comment ahaha. Jack of all trade but master of none is exactly right. But been doing ok so far. For around 50-70$ do you have any suggestion for rgb bluetooth keyboards preferably 65 keys or tkl? again really love your channel! Sorry long comment ahaha
@@allusanchez4206 I just ordered a really good 65% board and it is really good, name is Blitzwolf BW-KB1. Switch And Click actually did a review on it!
im using this kb. i don't really use the on/off switch and just let it go on sleep mode. yes, inserting the type c cable is just annoying. but overall im satisfied with it.
Another amazing review! This keyboard could have been a contender, especially since it has Mac functions, but I am not too keen on the software download. It's sketchy to me and I like the idea of just plug-in or quick Bluetooth pairing much better. The style is so nice though (gosh darn I wanted this board to be on my list) cause I love me some white and accented color keycaps! I am eager to see what other finds you have in store!
Personally like the sound of the brown. I've had mine for 3 months, only problem I have is the balance on the colored keys. Since I changed them from the white ones to the colored ones it came with there's a bit of wobble or inblance on the shift keys. For some reason it doesn't feel as flat or leveled as the others and there would be times when it looks like one end of the key is jutting a bit up but no challenges on typing experience yet. Agree on the usb-c port. I thought something was wrong with mine when it didn't slide in easily but apparently it's the same for all, no problem for me since I prefer to have it wired because I'm too lazy to keep charging it but if you tend to disconnect it from time to time for the wireless experience it might cause a problem down the road. P.S. demmmmm the black switch sounds good too. O____O
On Aliexpress they start to put a new keycap puller with switches - with hexed inner shape (you will see). It way better than old ones. Almost close to stock Leopold plastic puller. It cool.
On paper, a dream keyboard that ticks all the boxes. Dedicated volume scroller, bluetooth, TKL, friendly price. But the implementation is kinda meh. Thanks for the sincere review.
I had this keyboard for like a week. it looks great, the wheel is a nice touch, but the keys were absolute TRASH on mine. Mine came with their ajazz branded blue switches and were thoroughly inconsistent - some of them felt nice and clicky, while others had a tendency to get stuck. the escape and L keys felt linear. -_- thank fuck i had the opportunity to return it.
The K870T definitely comes with the extra white (or black) shine-through ABS keycaps to replace those colored PBT ones and make a full set. Maybe you didn't get one in your box? I also put my Rakk Lam Ang Pro Hotswap PCB into my K870T to make a full white version.
Thaaaanks for the review. I recently bought this keyboard, it's my first mechanical keyboard ever. The only reason I bought a mechanical was because my last two keyboards gave up at 12 and 10 months respectivelly, i think because they were just like cheap. My other option to this keyboard was the Logitech pop, but someone reminded me that if a key were to stop working it'll be extremely hard to repair. If anyone knows about durability on this keyboard I'd appreciate that info. Thanks
The keyboard looks nice on the video~ except the bottom part and the legs, haha. Thanks for the nice review! It'd be nice if you could add about the company/brand and where it's from. Never heard of this company or brand before!
Great review! Compared to my Mini Cat64 and this new FEKER Alice80 I just got, the AJAZZ feels horrible. I really did like the rotary scroll wheel thing, but the switches and keycaps feel very bad for the most part. It is comfortable to type on with the layout and the red switches, but after some use, I think I am just going to use this as a board to mod heavily and see how good I can get it to sound lol

I heard the Ajazz boards work with the Rakk rgb software too
they prolly use the same OEM board and design to save on cost. Most of Rakk's keyboard and mice are OEMs
Somehow this doesn’t have a usb pass through like the Lam Ang pro does
Looks like it without the USB pass through and the interchangeable top cover
You should make a similar video for the AliExpress keyboards as Amazon audience is very narrow.
