No, stay home and drink plenty of fluids, and take something to lower the fever if there is one. 許家河's aim is to keep track of everybody to minimize the risk of riots, and upheaval because of the 二十大.

Remember the tiny one-cent notes for paying power bills? but not for any other usage. We called the early largest amount of banknotes of $500. ‘ big cotton blanket ‘ ( Dai Min Toi). so wide, you needed 4 folds for hiding in the ‘watch pocket’ of trousers. Times flies, you might ignore the $2. coin you saw on the ground nowadays.
I agreed Roman Tam song reminded us most of us grew up in old HK which I meant before HK returned to Chinese government. I grew up under British government, and witnessed so many of ups and downs of social movement. HK people were resilient regarding whatever situation they faced. I wish the pandemic will be over soon so I can visit my homeland again!
When Britian was in charge in Hong Kong, Hong Kong could stay away from civil war in mainland China from 1945 to 1949. ie Chinese Communist Party and National Party of China (Taiwan). Without Britain ruling in Hong Kong, Hong Kong would be suffered to starvation, cultural revolution and fighting and killing each other by Chinese Communist Party like in 1960s. The sad things is, right now Hong Kong people never think about this way, especially the people who are pro-Chinese Communism.

本人係出生香港最發達的80年代。。。好多謝板主的分享和細說戰後香港故事，當時人的刻苦努力和知足，令我很佩服和覺得好有動力
欣赏有你/妳irismiffy（不知是后生仔还是后生女）这些年青一辈如此通达。
以往香港的成就在于港人的上进踏实，如今这美德渐已褪色。
如果60-70年代港人在经济工商各界没有使英国人不敢轻视贡献，相信也得不到后来麥理浩时代的改变，如像今天这樣狗咬狗骨內耗，只会像戴麟趾或之前被外国踩而已。

那個年代雖然貧窮,我睇一D都唔悲慘生活好實在好勤奮只有一個目的,就係三餐溫飽,一家人在一起,相對而家呢個年代仲悲慘.
.............當時是戰後,物資短缺,莫說吃得飽,連有沒有得吃也成問題,勤奮不代表你能生存,因為當時有這麼多工作機會?香港工商發展是1950年後的事,大陸解放,大批京滬商家帶大批黃金/資金落香港設公司,香港人才有工作機會,不過沒幾年就韓戰禁運經濟又打回原型,一直到70~80年代才叫做勤奮工作才三餐溫飽,以前一對夫婦生7~8個小孩,養得活2~3個也沒有,不是餓死病死,不然只能送他人或孤兒院.所以以前的人為什麼養這麼多小孩?

我的爺爺出生在1880年代香港，嬤嬤出生在1890年代的新加坡，父親20年代出生，母親30年代出生，昔日的香港人不問世事，努力踏實勤奮工作，為香港為家人為自己為後代，不似現在的青年人不務正業，怨天怨地怨父母怨社會，這確實過去的香港比較和諧。
其實人很簡單 只求安居樂業和一個 充滿道德的氛圍 這樣他甚至乎上游的機會也可以不要

我是出生於45年住在上環木樓區,對當時環境也略有記憶,當時大多數人因避難從大陸民到港而生活艱苦樸素,但是社會和諧人民也蹝實工作尋求生計,反觀現在香港永無止境的爭爭吵吵使人煩擾,難導中國人真的只受外人管理才可以安靜(可悲)！
+Shiu Kuen Tang 前輩你好！我是出生於64年。當時該批因避難而從大陸到港的人成為了社會動力，值得致敬！而現時永無止境的爭爭吵吵，我直覺其「業因」是錯綜複雜。我不懂時政，只憑膚淺之直覺矣！
