I Like The Fact That His Excellency. Dr. Lt. Seretse Khama Ian Khama Is Pulling Through Regardless whatever is/was been said about him Being The Former President...
I have always wanted to know what he thinks about having a family and kids... to be honest it is actually what i thought could be the answer.. much respect to our Brother ♥️ ♥️🔥
18+ wasn't necessary, this needs to be consumed by every Motswana more especially kids otherwise according to me it's a imperative piece of interview and I'm forever gonna come back here to remind myself of a legend Khama is, putting aside all our political affiliations, Khama is an icon which I sincerely believe should be celebrated and given his flowers. In this I learnt a lot about how disciplined I thought he was and how truly disciplined he is. This interview deserves to be played on national TV.
I agree that Ian Kgama loves his country. As far as the Africa continent, he really thinks like his West minds. His comment about Gaddafi is absurd. He is no leader in Africa, and the world has done what Gaddafi did for his country. The democracy Ian is talking about is the Western one, not African one. Africa has to have their own. I understand Britain is his other ancestral land by his mother. He even claims to know what Lybians went through, which is not true. Can he go visit Lybia and see what his fellow Western Countries under NATO did? I pity him on this one. He needs to reflect thoroughly and do research on how Lybians lived under Gaddafi and now after he's killed.😰😨😢 He Ian Kgama) ran away to exile because some people didn't want him to leadership and they rigged elections according to him. There were allegations levelled against him 'unfairly.' In the meantime, Botswana is still developing country when they have diamonds 💎 not benefitting the nation. In Lybia, every household had a stipend from oil, He built high standard hospitals. Every young married couple was given money to get property. Actually, one journalist from West, egthe UK, interviewed one man who was closest to Gaddafi and trusted by him. He explained all the benefits, and I was shocked to hear that. I even realised that I was also ill-informed on some issues. I learned to investigate/research before commenting on anything. The man interviewed was sitting comfortable in a home provided by Gaddafi to him as part of those benefits. He spelt out everything. This journalist appeared surprised and ask, so you lived this comfortable life during Gaddafi, and most people in Lybia do?" He said "yes." Then the journalist asked so when some people turned against him, what happened. He praised himself that he joined them. The journalist appeared appalled but asked why he joined them. He said I wanted more, to be rich.🤔 This journalist ended the interview. After he commented that imagine people having what many people don't have in their respective countries. We don't have such inour country. Then, instead of appreciating, he joined in the betrayal just for greed!!. How I wish I could have that interview to share it. I'm searching for it.🤔 I know that any leader who doesn't follow up their masters plan is called a dictator by West and NATO Alliances. Ian should learn to understand Africans regardless of his status. Africa needs it's own democracy. He also needs to abandoned politics and go to resume his chieftainship, concentrate on Bogosi and Batswana people. He appears to be good on leading the nation and development. 🤔
Astonishing! Marvelous. Its good to hear from the horse's mouth and he appears to be telling the truth he knows, and the best of his opinion. Even when I disagree with him on issues of Gaddafi and Idi Amin but former president ga se leherehere, he may be wrong on many terms but ga se leherehere
Don't think he needed convincing, this is the biggest podcast in Botswana and if you want to speak to Batswana you have to come here. These guys have such a huge platform, am in Randburg, moved out of Maun were I grew up 16 years ago but this podcast has managed to grab my attention away from these things in Mzansi
He mentioned it sometimes back that he found in on pipeline when he assumed office and mentioned people like the former police commissioner Mr Moleboge and others as one of the people who advocated for it
For someone like me who is a Motswana in SA, I don't know much about Botswana politics but I love Botswana so much as a country and actually plan moving that side permanently, Former President SERETSE KHAMA strikes me as a person who is almost like our former President JACOB ZUMA, flawed in his unique way but mostly in best interest of the people. This is me making this conclusion after only this episode ,no other referral content. Batswana , lona lo itse botoka, educate me?
Very good structure to the interview. You followed his life chronologically and with intention. Congratulations on a job well done. Professional but personable.
A very rudimentary interview that bothered with being facetious. It was saved by the generosity of the former president of our sister country. Conversely, an OK interview that dealt with the legend of the man, the myth, and all that could be asked carelessly but with respect. I like where this dude is going. He needs journalistic traits and a few other things. The potential is there brother.
The man who has the interest of the Nation and country Botswana at the man who led with principles building on what he found to improve the visionary and strategic leader the man who saved Botswana economy in times of international crisis of global recession a man who intensified Botswana security in the global crisis of human trafficking and drugs the list is endless 🙏🇧🇼
Allowing African children to travel freely across the continent would be a powerful catalyst for growth and unity, not just for the future generation, but also for the heart of Africa's economy-its small and medium businesses. As these young minds journey across borders, they bring with them curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of cultural pride. This movement would ignite new opportunities for businesses to thrive, as they become the backbone of a continent united by shared experiences and dreams. Imagine a future where children, inspired by the diverse landscapes and vibrant cultures of Africa, grow up to become entrepreneurs who weave their knowledge and connections into a tapestry of prosperity. This freedom to explore and connect would not only enrich the lives of the children but also empower the businesses that support their communities, creating a ripple effect of growth, innovation, and hope across the entire continent.🇿🇦🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
We lost it when they both became our leaders, mme hela this was not suposed to be happening. We are aging without having owned a piece of land due their unnecessary fights, and that on its own has left us in depression. We just have to look UDC as alternative tota
This is his 58th session and Masisi features prominently in all of them. Can anyone quote just one writeup by Masisi where he says anything about him. This just goes to show how many of our people are willing to express their stupidity and biasness in public without even an iota of shame 😅.
Khama is so Westernised he sounds like a british/american spokesperson. His views are so aligned with everything western. From his views on a number of former African leaders to the Russia/Ukraine issue. it makes sense that his mom was british and his dad a british puppet. Great interview team
Skyz we all westenized, we using their youtube (oh i realize you have an account and english account name you gave urself)...language (your grammar is good)...education...clothing ...and analysis.... we actually more british/western than Khama
His dad wasn’t a puppet whatsoever. He may be a puppet himself but his dad was never one whatsoever. 🇧🇼 wouldn’t have a chance to align with BRICS if he was still president. Even though masisi is even a worse puppet than Khama I’m glad there’s still a chance to join BRICS under Masisi

Shocked to know that the formation of DIS was never Ian Khama's initiative 😱
I reckon, the initial thought and bill was not, the operative after it was approved was all him.
He mentioned it sometimes back that he found in on pipeline when he assumed office and mentioned people like the former police commissioner Mr Moleboge and others as one of the people who advocated for it
