Your smile in the thumbnail is so fabric haul happiness. Looking foward to seeing what you make!
Yellow Patchwork either a cropped jacket or a flowy skirt...with a black solid Coordinating piece would be great
Fun day, you had!! :+) Dog is adorable! Where is the other one??
All your fabrics were fab.I loved the colours in the chevron. With the patchwork I think it would look gorgeous as a maxi dress but cut on the bias so the squares become triangular.
I live in New Jersey, very close to NYC. I am going to the fabric district next Monday. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Lindsay 👋 what fun you had I wish I was there with you ,lots of beautiful fabric you got a hold of, I usually do the same in bargain bins I dive head first into them as well , just love the patchwork fabric I would make harem pants and maybe cusion covers or a quilt for lounge, the chevron fabric will be perfect for sweater or fitted dress. Have fun constructing beautiful garments ,can't wait for you to show them off ❤
The first material looks like a great for a Caftan. Love all the material, beautiful.
I think you got some unique fabrics at great prices. I live in NYC and haven’t gone to the fabric district aside from Mood and years ago for trims. I think I’m being silly because there are real finds. Thanks for sharing.
Omggggg! Yah! Just go and look around. Even just for fun! It’s always an experience! Haha!
So many fun fabrics!! Years ago I lived in NYC and went to a fabric sale at FIT. I still have the fabric I bought because it's become a sentimental souvenir and I don't want to cut it... but maybe it's time. Love hearing your fabric shopping stories!
THAT LARGE PRINT FLORAL (ivory background with the brown and burnt orange) is perfect for you, Lindsey. Wow!. And I like the chevon idea--a bit trendy for for the classic chevron--go for it, Lindsey. And my thoughts about the square quilt top, I can envision a long quilted skirt and possible a short crop jacket (but don't wear those together or risk the Halloween social event--which is not a bad idea!) Great haul. I can't hardly wait to see what you do with each one of those. ~ L
Your fabrics are so nice! Your little fur baby cute!
A trip to NYC brought out the BoHo in you - love it!
So glad you had a great time. I have a lot of questions about going to NYC. Could you do a blog post on how to travel in NYC?
@@InsidetheHem Yes, I looked at the Playlist of your former videos and found the NYC trip. It answers my questions. Once again, great content!
Fabric haul 🎉
Where can I find the Kashi guy online? I can’t find anything in NYC called Metro Fabrics. Thank you! Love the very first one with the silver threads!! What a great find! Are there any NYC shops online?
It’s metro textiles nyc dot com! You can also shop mood, fabrics and fabrics, promenade…so many.
😂😂😂 the story about negotiating for the yellow patcheork fabric was awesome! Then you're like 'i just have to ne careful to not make clown pants' 😂😂😂 omg Lindsey, you are so funny!
Totally BoHo fabrics. Love💕
