    I'm definitely not saying I'm a genius or anything close, but I've been doing mind maps for about 10 years, and I feel like I'm pretty good at finding connections between things, and they have had a helpful impact on my life as a result. I think they very much correspond to the minds' natural way of processing and storing, etc, information. There are more complexities to the brain, but mind maps are very close to the brains natural thinking mechanics. They are really ingenious.

      It's fantastic to hear about your extensive experience with mind maps and how they've positively impacted your life. Having used them for about 10 years, you must have developed a deep understanding and proficiency in finding connections and organizing thoughts, which is a skill in itself.
      Your observation about mind maps mirroring the brain's natural way of processing and storing information is spot on. Indeed, mind maps align closely with our cognitive functions, especially in how we associate ideas and concepts. This alignment is what makes them such a powerful tool for brainstorming, problem-solving, and learning.
      Your point about the complexities of the brain and how mind maps approximate its natural thinking mechanics is also very insightful. They simplify and visualize the intricate web of thoughts and ideas we carry in our minds, making it easier for us to navigate and understand them.
      Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. It's always enriching to hear from someone who has extensively used and benefitted from these techniques.

    I liked when you said the one tool you keep coming back to is mind maps.
    I've been across various industries for the past 30 years.
    Anytime I start with a new project or team, a mind map is my first line of defense to come up to speed quickly.

    I love the differentiation in your professional life. I have had that. With or without pen & paper, I have often thought 3 to 4 steps ahead. When I write it out, I notice wordy or long form signifies emotion driven (big help). My 7 yr old is quiet like me, we often are shocked that our ideas don't yet exist.

    After 1 year AI is changing everything

    • @ShengHuang
      @ShengHuang  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes and no. AI is indeed huge, but us humans have not changed much since the days of Seneca and Aurelius or even the ancient Greeks. We have yet to figure out the best way to use our technologies in ways that serve our higher purpose. A mental OS update is necessary to reach the next stage of human progress beyond Maslow's lower levels. Tech is only part of the answer, and is apparently creating more barriers than solutions in many respects.

      AI is a marketing name of Machine Learning algorithms. AI can't exist without humans, otherwise it'll stuck learning from itself eternally. So far there's no AI which can actually create.
