    Did I understand Beatriz correctly that I need 24 months of minimum wage in my Portuguese bank account for my SEF (not VFS) appointment? Obrigado.

    lol @christina saying people are fleeing the UK. Correct, we are. I've not watched for a long time since I got my residency thanks to EI! I can't recommend them enough, I know there are ways to do it yourself but do you have the time, patience, stress levels and language skills needed? Worth the spend in my opinion

    You said we required $7500 into the PT bank, then you talk about $1800 deposit, I am confused
    If I have and can show $2600 usd per MONTH, do I still need to make a large deposit into my PT bank account ? Do I need BOTH ?
    OR does the income proof the only thing required ? With some smaller amount, let's say $2000 usd in the PT bank ?

    What if someone had a dui in the states ten years ago that has been removed from the department motor vehicles records but may still show up on their fbi background check?

    In a video few months ago with the same folks it was stated that a NIF and bank account is not necessary for a D8 Digital Nomad (employed and working remotely/no retirement). Is that still true? I literally see no requirement like this in VFS or DC embassy websites.

    With regards to insurance the minimum requirements: €30,000 cover, repatriation and no deductibles. What do they mean no deductibles? Thanks.

    If I receive a D-7 visa, can I also used the guest house behind my home in Portugal as an Air bnb rental as one of my streams of passive income?

    Keep talking about NIF, I have NIF but from Cape Verde, being a colony of Portugal, are they the same or different?

    Not sure if this is the place to ask, maybe ask Beatriz. I am American born to American parents. I have been to Portugal a few times, don't remember getting a visa. My question is I am also a citizen of Cape Verde so which country carries more weight for entering Portugal. I can do either or, the D7, D8, investment, 90 days for me gets confusing, If I go to Portugal, I will buy a home, I may rent but would only be until my home is livable. Would it be better for me to buy a home before I go to Portugal?

    I understand that the D7 visa requires that one live in Portugal for 8 mo/year for the first 2 years. Does it change to 6 mo/year after that for years 3-5? or is it 8/mo year for all 5 years? I see conflicting info on the internet and didn't hear it in this video (or missed it). thanks.

    • @InMyBrz
      @InMyBrz Рік тому

      THAT is confusing
      What I heard ; the first term of the visa is 2 years, you can be out of PT a block of 6 months OR any combination of up to 8 months in various in and outs (out 2- out 6=8 total)
      The 2nd visa is good for 3 years

    So is this a visa for anyone and everyone to come . How do make a distinction ?? Free medical is not free it’s taxed medical and burden like NHS is a pointless medical service
