Wow I just saw this older video and as of today your channel is almost 6 times his!! Testament to your hard work and passion for what you do. Keep on inspiring us and loving your best life brother 🙏
It's not the size of your channel that matters, it's how u use it bro. ; - )
I’ve watched this video several times too, because the simplicity of your dishes and how everyone enjoyed it in the end was bliss to what my eyes could see. Also, I live how you didn’t waste the bread and the sauces. Therefore, “KNIFE is LIFE!!!” 🙏🏼💯

All foodies are alike; sharing and caring, and above friendly and hospitable. Thank you for sharing!
inspiring stuff. love the way you prepared that. really tempting me to drive out to the west coast and try this
These are great, easy and delicious recipes. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for the info on filling the hole !
was always taught to fill it just didn't know why. thanks
if you're walking in shallow water looking for clams and you step in an open clam hole, you will break your leg!
Dude, love that your lady is out there with you! Cheers mate!
Even if your Channel isn’t really big it’s definitely my number in catch and cook I love how I think you can eat everything just because I see you use just about everything you come across and that’s nothing to can come by I love how knowledgeable you are about the ocean I wish I knew all you know it amazes me
We put the clams in a pot of boiling water for just a minute or 2 until the shells open. Makes it much easier to shell, clean & does get a bit of the sand out. Sometimes we just pour the boiling water on them in the sink and they open right up.
The horse clams and cockles make a good chowder.
That's it! I am coming to Cali to help you catch and cook. Everything looks so darn good.
Channel randomly popped up on my feed. So glad it did. You got yourself a new fan.
Great video! Looks like fun and the end result looked delicious!
So glad I stumbled on your chanel. My aunt and I already planned a trip to try to go get some rock crabs and do some outdoor cooking. Thanks for the insporation!!
You are an amazing chef! Really brings out your catch and cooks. Very informative, got my sub here!

Wow. Cool channel, I appreciate this as a pescatarian who really wants to have a connection to my food if I’m going to keep eating fish/shellfish. I’ll have to try this one day!

I was up in WA for the 4th and caught a geoduck and some giant cockles. Wish I had seen this video before then because our cook definitely did not do our catch justice! Geoduck is definitely best as carpaccio, not sautéed. Really enjoying this channel!

What can I say? To parrot so, so many others in the comments section.... DAMN! BROTHER and SISTER! I'm local to you folks and never knew so much of this.
I see some comments directed towards sound/video work, etc. on your videos. Whatever. I can turn off the sound on my computer and still get the full enjoyment from your experiences.
As a fellow gourmand, I can actually taste and experience your videos!!!!
Kudos Outdoor Chef Life. I subscribed 2 videos ago, (the first I saw) and will be here for the long term.

Got bigger than philosophy after all.. good job man.
Look's so good I can almost taste it. Great video
Love this guy's respect for nature!
Italians don't usually put cheese on seafood, so I'd call it California style. With that said, it looks awesome!

I love how peaceful and simple your channel is. It's a delight to follow and subscribe. Snagged Philosophy D too🤙🏽
On a side note: I dont even fish. Nor share this interests in life. Yet the channel is a fun ride.
Your videos are amazing even when you're making simple dishes
Fresh, raw clam is always good...but that clam toast deal you made looks fire. Gonna have to try something like that.

Damn that looks hella good!!!!
Love your videos mate 👊😎
Great video man
love all your vids man
At 2:38 Taku talks about being sustainable and back filling holes, and demonstrates once again, and as always: responsible foraging/fishing/clamming. This is a big part of why we like him and his company so much. But aren't those old badly filled holes right behind him? I've never been clamming, not yet, but I will. So, are those tiny craters in the background normal? Even after people backfill their holes and the next tide has come? Maybe the landscape gets pockmarked in a best case scenario? Are those tiny craters the result of previous clammers who did, or didn't backfill their holes, I wonder? Looking forward to being a dirty sustainable ethical clammer one day very soon.
He's right, this is "next level" catch and cook! Bravo, to combine outdoor adventure with gourmet cooking! Like I posted before, bring some wine expert and pair whatever you've got w/ a nice bottle of wine, and take it to the NEXT level...
Looks like a great time.
Love your content !!!!!!
Your channel has more subs now... congrats bro 👍

You’re gonna be big. This channel is super entertaining.
By the way, what is your favorite shellfish to sashimi?
I'm watching while eating salmon that I seared in a good pan with olive oil, butter, salt, white pepper, lemon and orange slices and rice. Even though I'm in central texas, I try to make due. :)
Awesome and fun trip my man. One of the best catch and EATS ever. I'm actually getting hungry thinking about it again!
