to the reactors who wanted there to be a buildup to his head voice riffs and high notes -- they would LOVE cry for love !!! same album, but quite a different emotional effectiveness. this was baekhyun truly giving everything he has in his arsenal, but cry for love has some really fascinating dynamics and phrasing choices that I think the musicians would love!!

You know the song is GREAT when most of them are not giving any comments about the song and respectfully listen to it 'til the end and then they elaborate it 🥰 Well, 'Bambi' album is a masterpiece, and I'm still listening to all of the tracks like every day ❤️ 'All I Got' is definitely my most favorite track, along with 'Cry for Love, Bambi and Amusement Park'. And God, I'm soooo proud of Baekhyun. EXO members' vocals are out of this world. His luxurious quality voice with his wide range gives Baekhyun an ability to be versatile and sings every possible genre. God, now I miss him even more 🥺🥺😭❤️🥰

I don't think Baekhyun came here with his runs & riff out of nowhere, as 2 reactors said , they felt , he is doing it because he can , not because of emotion , Bambi is a album which have very organized order, if you listen the album from beginning, you will get where his high notes runs and riffs are coming from , it doesn't fell sudden or emotional less.
Like raffi said the song is called "all I got" bc the vocalist is supposed to give "all [they've] got" baekhyun didn't change any of the riffs from tone's version, meaning those are tone's intentions, not baekhyun's. I think he does the song perfectly as intended.

exactly! and i think anyone who knows baekhyun knows that he doesnt constantly flex his vocals there are many songs where he sings pretty softly for example my turn to cry hes not hitting constant high notes. Also I think this song is one for the fans who loves his vocals. He knows what his fans like and I think he knows we have all been wanting a song like this from him. I think thats better appreciated when you know baekhyun and have been following him for awhile as a fan which im assuming the reactors don't

i think baekhyun conveyed his msg pretty well. ALL I GOT is a love song yes but the main intention of the song was really to show off, to give all he's got before he left for military. that's what ALL I GOT meant to him, that was really just him showing what he was already capable of at his age and for how long he has been in the industry. it's still so sad that he just dropped bambi album, no promotions whatsoever, just "listen to my music while im away". THEY TOOK HIM ON HIS BIRTHDAY NOW GIVE HIM BACK PLEASE SO WE CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THIS SONG LIVE, BAEKHYUN

One thing about this album that Baekhyun wanted to was to show his voice like we all know Baekhyun can sing but we he wanted to show us he can sang. And he did period. For me personally I feel like sings more emotionally on Cry for Love more than All I got but it's just a really sad song but with a great like beat to it. And his lower register is amazing on it. I have been waiting for this reaction ever since Baekhyun dropped the album haha.. He was like let me make mad not only tenors but also sopranos hahaha... That C6 is absolutely crazy... As a fan of Baekhyun since his debut, I have seen how he has grown up into the artist he is today. He is someone who is fully aware of his capabilities. Songs like All I Got and Cry For Love are what I exactly expected from him. Can't wait for his future solo projects. He never misses.

i already watched this on patreon but AAAAAA i cannot praise this song enough: not just for baekhyun's EXEMPLARY showcase of his facets as a singer and artist, but also for all the production tidbits jason was able to point out!!! the gospel and r&b influence in the track is SO good, and it really adds to the ambience of all i got! between the organ, the gospel-like chorus and harmonies, it's all such a SOULFUL package like AAAA

The one make me fell for this man was his unique voice (not just when he sing but even when he casually talk, sound kinda cute when he talk LOL). He was wrecking me since Wolf era with his vocal and finally become my ult bias (even still top3 among all my ultimates) at Overdose era.

Ngl this song is one of my favorite songs PERIODT. Not just in Baekhyun discography, not just in EXO solo projects, not just in KPOP, but in general. Kpop songs nowadays loose longevity you tend to not comeback after a second comeback cycle if you’re not a big fan of that person or group, but this songs is on my daily repeat list for a year now. And yes, i wanted to say to the one, who basicly pointed out that Baekhyun is just showing off without purpose: that was the purpose! He did bring this album out and went to the military for two years leaving everyone behind thinking: vocally no one is going to top this until he comes back^^ He did this because he CAN do it and no one else can do it so casually.

I think it's funny how many times someone mentions his range when EXO members have said Chen and Xiumin have a wider range.
For the guys who thought he came in too early with the high notes and riffing, I feel like that is just Baekhyun. I don't know how exactly to explain it- to me it matches his personality and certain moments I've seen from him. But I think he puts the emotion throughout the song instead of an overall gradual buildup along with high notes, which may come of as inauthentic emotion because it's on high the whole time. He really does give his all right at the beginning and throughout the entire song. Though, I can see how knowing his taste in music and watching Baekhyun & EXO content makes it easier for me to more evidently see and hear that authenticity. Cry For Love has more of a gradual buildup and is my personal favorite track from the album.
