A Slap In The Face For Music MONDO CANE 2

Recently released on DVD, this 1963 sequel to the wildly successful original shockumentary MONDO CANE (1962) is good but not as profound. A funny sequence is excerped here. The original film is noted for its irony, shock, odd views of the world, disgust, tragedy, social commentary, hilarious absurdity, and a beautiful musical score. Yeah, I think this movie was kind of like the "Faces of Death" of the 60's. Some real footage mixed in with alot of staged footage.

Yeah, it has to be staged. The camera angles, the audience reaction. Still a lot of laughs, though. (The little guy remoinds me a little of Patton Oswalt.)
