So this series continued due to the sales of the first games in Japan and gained some fame. My favorite game, Twewy got a second game after 14 years, and the marketing for it was disastrous and sold less than half a million copies. The battle system and the cats as party members are the only things drawing me in. The demo was disappointing.
Also, it needs to be priced cheaper than it is.
Totally dissapointed cause Visions of Mana has cooperative mode.

Saga series has never been mainstream. They have their own cult following. That's why they have never been triple A games. Double A at most.

For me
I would enjoy the SaGa series if you weren't absolutely punished for trying to grind out character levels. Pass.
Except for RS2, it isnt the case.
It is one of the few game jrpg where learning a tech in a battle can really turn the tides. And i dont speak about formation, many item/tech to counter a lot of ennemy worst attack. The only thing who is "punishing" is that when you start you have everything to learn.
