What’s even better is when you have 3 trucks. One that’s riding right behind the one in the right lane trying to intimidate or whatever, and then you got another asshole in the passing lane going like 1 mile faster but it’s uphill so the speed limit is 80 but you’re barely hitting 55 for a good 15mins up the mountains.
Sounds like you guys need some respect for the people trying to make sure their loads are on time it's not a car you cant speed up the same way they try keeping their speed is what it is don't forget everything you have is thanks to a trucker so stop complaining
As a German I lost it at the highway rules of speedlanes. Our normal Autobahn has 2 lanes, bigger ones 3 and sometimes you see 4. Law says always drive as far to the right as possible. So even if I´m doing 250kph I will use the rightest lane, if somebody will pass me. Thats the most efficent way to use a highway.
@@jaffarkiptoo9911 They're LHD in Germany too? They just use roads properly. This Bladed Angel guy knows nothing about what he's talking about please don't take his videos as fact
I activate my turn signal right before I start slowing down for the turn. This way the cars behind you know why you're slowing down, and you don't signal early to the point of making people think you're about to turn earlier. So distance will vary depending on the speed you're driving and how much you need to slow down.
Please do it at least 2 seconds earlier. I hate people who use the indicator late. This way the car behind you has the chance to change lanes and pass you, without having to break. Changing lanes while the car in front of you is braking is also more dangerous, because they have to check the decreasing distance towards the car ahead and oncoming traffic on the other lane at the same time.
@@johannesf.2524 Well, I activate my turn signal long before braking, at this point I just start lifting my foot off the gas pedal. Also, you should keep a proper distance from the car in front of you, a good rule of thumb is the 3 seconds rules, so even if a car suddenly brake check you, you have 3 seconds to react.
@@HCkev if you don’t break immediately that’s a good thing. However the distance you travel while going 50 km/h (30 mph) for 3 seconds is quite long. 42 meters (137 feet) to be precise. I think nobody keeps that much distance in town.
I signal early on one road because everyone goes 30 over on it due to it being a straight road in a construction zone making it 45 when it should be more like 65-70, so everyone tailgates me because I go 10 over, and I've even had people pass me in the median between the 2 lanes of traffic, that's supposed to be used to make a left turn onto another road, I signal early to let the tailgaters know to back off and let me turn into my neighborhood, some asswipes don't back off, but most do
@@johannesf.2524 you've got to hate me then. I have the (bad) habit of signalling at the last possible second, sometimes at the same time as turning my wheel. It doesn't have the effect of signalling my intent to turn, only shows the fact that I am turning. Bad habit formed growing up somewhere if you signalled, the guy behind you on the next lane would pump the gas to tailgate the person in front, blocking you from changing lanes. Thus everyone just kinda forced their way in and whoever cared less about intimate contact got the right of way.

@@HCkev In Denmark this rule goes for any road that has more than one lane. Basically the rule is that you need to stay to the right unless you are passing :)
There was the time i decided to speed up to see how fast i would be going before they stopped tailgating me. The fact that i pegged the speedometer before they stopped tailgating me is dissapointing. Mind you there was literally no traffic other than us and the prick had three lanes to choose from.
I love cruising down the right-hand lane when everyone is sitting in the middle and left of my local highway. It's my favorite when some Karen decides that I simply cannot be passing her on the right, so they speed up. I've gotten them up to like 95 before they realize and drop back
@@Linckel Honestly most parts that I've passed through use electrical signals that switch from unrestricted to 120kmh restriction depending on traffic / weather. I drive 80km to work & another 80 back daily, they are restricted during normal traffic hours 90% of the time.
Same in the UK, you get a sign with 3 stripes indicating roughly 300M then 2 stripes at 200M and 1 at 100M. You're supposed to indicate at 3 but 2 is more common and equally acceptable. The trouble comes when someone sees the 100M sign of the exit they wanted while in the outside lane and dives across all 3 lanes like they were trying to dodge flak
The thing is, in most European driving culture we are taught to signal relative to time, not pure distance. Time can scale with speed, distance can't. It's like instead of saying you should keep 2 car lengths of distance to the person in front, instead keep 2 seconds of travel distance. That scales with speed and is based on reaction time, rather than a static metric. As an example, just signalling 5 seconds before a turn is a habit that works in all scenarios, not just on the Autobahn or on a small side road.
Here in Norway: - The general advice is to signal minimum 5 seconds before turning or changing lane (time, not distance). The law says you must give others enough time to react to your actions, before you execute them. - Staying in the fast lane is legal if there's a lot of traffic. Trucks must always stay in the right lane, unless passing. - Not stopping for pedestrians at a crosswalk, is a minimum $400 fine, and 2 "dots" on your driving license. You get different amounts of those for other violations too. 8 "dots" in a 2 year period, and you lose your license, even if a minor offense puts you at 8. - Jaywalking is illegal, but I've never heard about the police reacting to it at all. - Speeding is always illegal. You can get away with it in certain emergency situations, but that's extremely rare. And there is no "slow poke" law. - We have very few stop signs, instead we have yield signs. You don't have to stop at those if it's safe to continue.
and when your going 220kph/136mph people in front quickly switch lanes to the left side "left me get pass this truck real quick" doesn't even matter if they use the indicators or not. You. Driving 220kph/136mph Them. driving 100kph/*62mph* switching lanes less than 100ft 8n front of you You gotta smash those brakes people like that, even gonna be made at you "wHy YoU gOtTa DrIvE sO fAsT"
Don't forget that on the autobahn, passing someone in the right lanes is illegal. And that there is a speed limit, but it's just a suggestion, not cemented like it is here in the US.
I see a lot of people always worshipping Germany as the holy grail of driving experience but I'll try to lower your expectations a little bit here. First of all: Passing on the right is illegal everywhere and most people stay on the rightmost lane. However, that's not always the case in every region of Germany. For example, lots of people around Frankfurt/Mainz are incredibly oblivious drivers. When I moved here last year I was astonished by the massive amount of middle lane hoggers. The A5 and A3 are particularly bad. It's a massive problem 'round here and I've unfortunately adapted to this situation by just passing on the right. Police presence on German roads is very low and getting pulled over is something that is very rare, even more so for lane hogging. Now for the speed limit: Lots of sections on the Autobahn do have an actual, fixed speed limit (usually 120 km/h (75mph) or 100 km/h (62mph)). On unrestricted sections there's a so-called "advisory speed limit" of 130 km/h (81mph). If you go above 130 km/h you may be held liable for any accident you're involved in, no matter if you've caused it or not. That's why it's officially recommended to not drive any faster, although you have every right to drive as fast as you want as long as you don't cause any harm to other drivers. Some sections may also impose a temporary speed limit depending on traffic, accidents, construction work, or road conditions. Regarding economics: The faster you go, the more fuel you'll burn. Gas is around 5.35$/gal in Germany right now. If it weren't for the Corona virus you'd be looking at 6-7$/gal. Owning a car is expensive as it is, owning a car that gets less than 20mpg is people with good money territory. Sure, I can drive from Frankfurt to Berlin in 4 hours (~6h @ 81mph) but it'll cost me at least twice as much in fuel alone, not to mention the increased fatigue of driving so fast for so long. At that point, taking a train or airplane is more cost-effective and more comfortable. Therefore, it is simply not feasible for the average German to just floor it everywhere.
"Walkng reduces your weight and that gives you better 0-60 time" fucking legendary that line got me man. Youre absolutely correct thanks for opening my eyes
That is something i never understand, not just with parking, but also with lockers in a locker room. When i pick a spot with no one around, when i come back the ones next to me are also taken. I nver get why people need to take the closest spot to one already taken when there is no need to.
1400 kilos. Still lighter than most cars on the road today. The average weight of a new car is 2000 kilos, and it goes up every year. Even a new 911 weighs 1600. Edit: Just checked, and although the '70 Challenger is 1700 kilos, the current Challenger clocks in at 1700 minimum and maxes out at 2000
He’s talking about trucks and suvs the industry is really pushing them and due to some fuel regulation law for trucks auto manufacturers had to make their trucks so big that they can barely fit into your garage but it’s not all bad they have more space for more cargo and a more powerful engine so you can tow more weight
Number 4 is something I’ve started doing more and more. Annoys the hell outta me when people try to jaywalk across a busy street and then they have the audacity to get mad at you when you don’t stop for them. Not my fault you couldn’t walk ten extra yards to the crosswalk 🤷♂️

5:48 Imagine all driving schools teach you this in Germany and it's actually a law to drive on the right lane and overtaking on right is forbidden and illegal.
Sadly in the US people are so bad at using the left lanes properly that there is no way we could outlaw passing on the right. If we could make it illegal to be passed on the right, that would be awesome. I bet everybody would be very quick to use the lanes properly then!
It is taught in US driving schools and it is illegal, but it happens every day. In fact, I've noticed that on three lane roads, if the left and right lanes are both empty, people usually pass on the right. It's vexing.
in theory yes, in reality? might even slow it down, taking into consideration that the weight of the car could also improve traction, therefore increasing the zero to sixty time. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 (I'm aware that it was a joke, just wanted to add this for the shits)
Louisville here thats a damn lie.... people stay in the left lane non stop I pass in the right lane way to fucking often because people don't move. Now I'll stay in the left lane but if someone is coming up behind me I'll move over
This technically isn’t proper. Proper is to always be in the furthest most right lane until passing. Then you go one over to pass and if you need to pass in that lane you go over one more and etc.
@@hey_im_sunny27 The Fast lane is the passing lane for the normal lane but also literally just the 5-10 over lane. The actual passing lane is literally only for passing.
The worst part of the passing lane is that when you put your signal on, intending to get back into the fast lane Coincidentally that’s EXACTLY when the driver in front of you decides now is the time to change out of the passing lane. Sometimes I put my signal on just to bait people out so I can stay in the passing lane and pass them, and change over

#6: Safe Following Distance (Don't Tailgate). I am entirely sick and tired of people who think it is safe to follow 5 feet behind me while doing 60MPH+. If something happens in front of me and I have to slam my brakes, we're both going to the junkyard, plain and simple. At 45+, there needs to be 2 car lengths between you and the person in front of you, and 60+, 3 car lengths to give you enough time to react and come to a stop before you rear-end the driver in front of you. You won't get to your destination any sooner if you're trying to dry hump the driver in front of you. Just hang back a little.
Alright so you're correct about tailgating but omg 2 car lengths is not enough at 45+. That is not enough to stop safely! You should be 2-3 SECONDS behind and more than that the faster you are
@@MiriaJiyuu eh, I think 45-55, if you are not, say, 50+ years old you should be able to slam the brakes on and stop at 2-3 car lengths. Now, maybe if you're getting 50+ you might wanna follow further. Also, you should be watching the road ahead of the car in front of you, a lot of times you should be able to see a potential problem even before the car in front of you hits his brakes.
ever since i was little my dad would always tell me parking lots bang up cars, so now that i have my license i always park where the fewest amount of people are parked
"If people signal 200 feet early in local traffic it'll cause so much chaos." 200 feet at 30mph is 4.5 seconds. How is that going to cause chaos? That gives everyone around them time to realize they're turning, watch for their brake lights to indicate they've reached their intersection, and react accordingly. "45-50 feet is fine, as long as they don't do that one signal and swoop in." 50 feet at 30mph is 1.125 seconds. Most turn signals blink at a rate *_around_* twice per second (with variations depending on manufacturer). If they turn their signal on 50 feet before their turn at standard traffic speeds, they're pretty much bound to one or two blinks before making a move. I think the problem here isn't people signaling too early, I think the problem is that people by and large don't understand how much ground they're covering at any given time, and they're really bad at estimating distances. Go ask any person how long they think the stripes and gaps are on the street. I guarantee they'll give you the wrong answer. Most people (according to a study conducted by Ohio State University) will answer two feet on average. They're ten feet long, with a thirty foot gap between them, according to federal road safety mandates. You very likely already signal between 100 and 200 feet ahead of time without even realizing it, because humans *_SUCK_* at judging distances at speeds our bodies would never reach on their own on level ground. Edit: Since apparently people can’t figure this out on their own: *YES, EXCEPTIONS DO APPLY. BUT THEY ARE NOT THE NORM*
Bruh. If you have driven in NYC and in the tristate area, the length of a given street to turn on is sometimes less than 100 ft. And the speed limit is 25mph in NYC and in some areas 15-20 mph. So imagine signaling for 200ft when you’ve passed about 2 streets before turning in the street that you have to go in. Which Bladed literally explains in the vid.
@@ChrisM-dp9qo I'm sure civilized humans can realize not to follow a textbook word by word when it doesn't apply to there situation, hence not signaling 3 streets earlu
I really don't think any of you understand how short 50 feet is For reference, on a standardized dragstrip 50ft is literally the distance from the starting line to the tree Wow i guess i would have been right if you would have asked me about the lines on the road, i would have said 40ft, which is correct if you count the overall length of the line and it's gap
the driving rules in my country are that you signal 50M before the corner you are turning. 50M is very very short when you are driving, so i imagine 200ft is roughly the same distance. and its fine. you guys see 200ft and think you have to start braking 10 weeks before you get in your car. morons.

Still needs some work. The far right lane is the cruising lane. That's where you should be if you're not overtaking anyone. If you want to overtake someone, you move over one lane and then go back to the right. On a 3-lane highway, the innermost lane is just there to pass people on the middle lane, where you then move back over to the middle lane if there is no one to overtake there. Simply put: drive as far to the right as possible but never overtake on the right. ^ this is the very simple reason why German highways are far safer than US highways.
Speaking for my area at least. Most highways are 3 lanes except for very very busy areas, the exit lane basically is added as needed for exits and then goes away because nature. Secondly, due to the congestion having the lanes come in and out causes, there is effectively no lane differences during busy times. The far right is still considered slow and if the exit lane exists at the time it's used as an exit, but the fast lane and passing lane are too congested to be anything other than extra slow lanes. Even at less busy times, because the exit lane comes and goes and we have a lot of tractor trailer traffic and curves and such, the only rule that can be followed is the slow lane, as the fast lane has to be used as a passing lane for the slow and there is too much congestion in the fast lane for people in the passing lane to actually get back over without endangering people.
passing lane thing. i thought the speedlimit was a limit, not a suggestion. so if the speedlimit is something, you cant go over it unless it specifically says its something different in another lane, or like in my country, trucks (no, not f150 size trucks, but big cargo trucks) have a speed limit way lower than the usual speedlimit on the highway equivalent. and those you can pass at the speedlimit on the second lane and then merge right back when theres nothing to pass anymore
There are a few stop signs in my town where I legit get honked at for stopping at. Those same people will drive 20 under the speed limit while camping in the passing lane, making sure to brake during turns.
On long trips I choose to drive from 11-midnight til morning. I’ve noticed at night people respect the heck out of the right lane law. Half the people are hauling at 100+ and yea it’s good to see. Especially driving in cali.
I've never respected the "Keep Right Except to Pass" signs on freeways until I had to rush my bus back to the right when a drunk came at me in the wrong direction. I think this is why the signs are there, and most drunks do this after midnight.
@@raygrinders3918afaik That's not the reason those signs are there, but it is interesting that drunk drivers always keep to their right when on the wrong side of the freeway, meaning if normal drivers kept to the right like we're supposed to, we can always avoid them

The Jaywalkers issue is horrible where I live. We have a small city that surrounds a college. The main road used to be four lanes and people would just walk out. They changed the road the two lanes and added more crosswalks. Works much better now
@3:59 Have to comment again, I don't know how this works in your state/country, but in most places there is no speed limit + 10 lane. What's the point of having a speed *LIMIT* if it's ok to go over it? And since the passing lane is to the left of THAT, you're going even FASTER than +10. It's true that in most places cops have an unwritten rule of being flexible if you're less than 10 over the limit (depending on road conditions and traffic), but in your illo, ALL lanes are speed limit. You pass to get around people going BELOW the speed limit. I've been ticketed at < 10 over speed limit. That being said, yes, stop driving in the passing lane. Just don't think it's a 'go whatever speed you want to get to the front' lane.
Wow, US laws seem so incredibly different. For one the passing rules on the highway in the UK are are strictly stay left unless overtaking. All of the other lanes are overtaking lanes. Loads of people don't always follow this, but Police are clamping down this a lot more. The speed limits are enforced with cameras (sometimes average speed cameras), there's no "slow poke" law and if the flow of traffic exceeds the limit. You're expected not to exceed it yourself, you'll still get a speeding fine if you do. There's no mandated distance for signalling. You're trained to use the signal "to benefit those around you". So that could shorter, longer or not at all depending on the situation. Stop signs work the same but, police don't monitor or enforce them and they are much rarer here.
Usually stop signs are place in junctions with such poor visibility that you'd be an idiot not to. The rest of junctions have "give way" where you can see the traffic on the road you want to join from far away so determine whether you need to stop or not.
Yeah the guy overcomplicated it. In reality, most states just say to keep right except to pass. There should never be a scenario where people are passing you on your right (unless its one of those weird highways that have exit ramps on the left).
Jaywalking isn’t a law here in the UK, I’d like to know the amount of car/ pedestrian accidents per capita compared to the US. Also I’ve never heard of the slowpoke law, that sounds like a great law though! 😁
In minneapolis its not enforced (not because its not damgerous) but because its a get back or get smack kinda thing cause almost everybody flys around at 15-20 over and if u cross infront then that sucks for you because they WILL NOT STOP. Its nice to see natural selection still works in some ways

They should really enforce the passing lane rule in driving school and start giving out tickets for that. Imagine if there's an emergency and there's a firetruck, an ambulance, or a police car. They need to get somewhere as fast as possible so they are the only ones allowed to hog the passing lane, bc they need to pass everyone to get to that emergency. Just know you can cost someone's life by hogging the passing lane.

As someone who lives in Atlanta, I can definitely say we love our cement for SOME reason. I rode over a low lying one in Emory when I first started driving. Atlanta & Kennesaw (and Savannah even more so) also have an addiction to medians everywhere. I think it has to do with a road beautification program or something.

1) Sweden has no law specifying a distance in advance you need to signal (which is a stupid idea anyway; it should be based on time since roads have different speeds, and you should be allowed to start using it at a stand still) 2) Most motorways I drive on have 3 lanes. But I do agree with that people should move to the right from the leftmost lane as often as possible. The rightmost lane usually ends up with a lot of lorries here, so that's how the road is split for the most part. 4) There's no jaywalking law in Sweden, it is technically illegal to cross on red, but there's no punishment. But I do agree, if you're going to cross the street where it isn't meant for pedestrians to cross, take some responsibility and cross when safe to do so. H) I drive the speed limit. Most people here keeps a bit under it. I've tried measuring my speedometer with the speed cameras around so I know where the actual speeds are. There are of course those who do speed, who do it significantly. So people go 80-90 km/h on a 90 road, and then those who go 110-120. 1) I make sure to always stop at a stop sign. I've never crashed at a stop sign, so it seems to be working. :)

Ah concrete barriers, my favorite. Cairns (Australia) has something similar to that and it's hell, especially if you've never been there before, because you're forced to exit when you didn't realize that it was an only left hand turn lane until right before the turn.
America has too many stop signs. In Norway we rarely have stop signs, usually there are only triangular yield signs, while the other road has some kind of right if way sign. Stop signs are only used where it is important to always stop, never where you can do a safe rolling check. Out of memory, I only know two stop signs, 5-20 minutes from home. I'm not aware of any others within a few hours radius, however there might be, but that's how uncommon they are.
the worst is when people signal AS THEY TURN. My dad tends to do this as well at town speeds and it drives me nuts. The whole idea of turn signals is to INDICATE that you intend to turn very soon. If you're already turning then what's the point, people won't have the time to react to your turn signals anyways as you are already turning at that point. So dumb. Might as well not use the turn signals at all and buy a BMW now that they're at it.
I wish all interstates were at least 3 lanes. This way you can Drive in the Center lane, Pass in the Left lane and Exit in the Right lane if you plan to get off soon. Sadly where I live most highways have only 2 lanes.
There's actually a much simpler explanation for highway lane etiquette: if you aren't passing anyone in the lane right of you, move over to it, if you're passing people in the lane left of you.. don't. The whole slow lane fast lane passing lane thing comes from practicing this law.
This makes more sense as it doesn't demand people never be in the left most lane. If I am cruising past plenty of cars in the left most lane, I stay in it. No harm here. Keeping the left most lane empty all the time with no discretion is silly.
a kentuckian here. i'm from western ky where bladed says he has driven through. (specifically the henderson evansville route if i had to guess). people here follow that because if they dont they will be pulled over in a heartbeat and it makes us have literally no traffic on the highways. other than when truckers hog the lane because there not from here.
on the crosswalk one, it's especially annoying on crosswalks that are not on intersections, theres a crosswalk right by my house that isn't on an intersection, but has warning lights and is painted, i got stuck in the middle of it the other day because nobody was stopping for me (also, this is technically a 30 zone, but people regularly do 60 on this street) seriously was worried someone was going to hit me, when i finally crossed someone yelled at me "thats not a crosswalk" lol
For the love of God come to a complete stop. In 01 a couple rolled a stop sign (I didn't have a stop sign) and both died when t-boned them. 14 years later, same intersection, a pickup with a trailer rolled the stop and my car was totalled. I've avoided at least 5 other accidents at that intersection. Just stop...
They should label the passing lane with text or make it a certain color. It looking like a regular lane makes it too hard for an American to comprehend 😂
Most people in the UK obey the passing law on the motorway/highway. But we have 3 lanes not 4 but it’s still the same rules! Just instead if the ‘exit’ lane we move over to the exit (like another lane appears basically)
I taught myself to give signals , watch the lane where i want to go and go, when someone politely opens the lane up for me. I also give signals early to "inform" others, what i intend to do. Should make proper sense
As a truck driver in south central minnesota, north central iowa. I'm in a rural area. I appreciate when people signal at 200 ft or more. The ones that wait till 50 ft or less make me miss opportunities to turn into a gap in traffic or be able to cross a road
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it a rule in almost every country that you stay as far to the right as possible unless it is to pass? There are no such things as "passing lanes", every lane other than the right one (in left handed driving countries) is a potential passing lane. You are not supposed to stay in the left or middle lanes unless there are cars to your right and you want to pass them. Again, I may be wrong about how it is in the US but I'm almost sure the rule is that, something as simple as stay as far to the right as possible, there is no need to complicate it with passing lanes, fast lanes, normal traffic lanes, ...
I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL and the one about the crosswalks and the intimidation to pedestrians hits a special nerve for me. I've had so many people ZOOM up right next to me as I'm walking across the street, the sign says walk, and they like to lay on their horn like I'M the asshole here. I've never been so pissed off before in my life, every time some shit like that happens. I wanna get physical, but I'm kind of a small girl. Like just bang on their hood. Real hard.

„signal 200ft early“ in germany we should signal 300m before the Autobahn exit
I was taught to signal couple seconds before making a turn/switching lane or whatever. Purely using distance is just dumb IMO.
@@rayzhang7591 agree
@@rayzhang7591 we were told about 5 seconds before.
Here in Norway:
- The general advice is to signal minimum 5 seconds before turning or changing lane (time, not distance).

What's this, Imperial? D:
Now for the speed limit:
Lots of sections on the Autobahn do have an actual, fixed speed limit (usually 120 km/h (75mph) or 100 km/h (62mph)).
Regarding economics:
The faster you go, the more fuel you'll burn.

"If people signal 200 feet early in local traffic it'll cause so much chaos."
200 feet at 30mph is 4.5 seconds. How is that going to cause chaos? That gives everyone around them time to realize they're turning, watch for their brake lights to indicate they've reached their intersection, and react accordingly.
"45-50 feet is fine, as long as they don't do that one signal and swoop in."
50 feet at 30mph is 1.125 seconds.

God it’s nice to hear someone who actually understands the passing lane
Still needs some work. The far right lane is the cruising lane. That's where you should be if you're not overtaking anyone. If you want to overtake someone, you move over one lane and then go back to the right. On a 3-lane highway, the innermost lane is just there to pass people on the middle lane, where you then move back over to the middle lane if there is no one to overtake there.
Simply put: drive as far to the right as possible but never overtake on the right.

In 23 states you only have to move over from the left lane if some behind you is moving faster and is not a dedicated passing lane . Then you have 5 states were you only have to move out of the left lane if you are not doing the speed limit

Well kentucky police actually monitor and enforce passing lane laws so that's why kentucky lanes are nice.
People think passing lane is the “speed limit lane”
Stop signs are stupid though; yield signs are vastly superior.
In most places, yes
Today I was giving way to oncoming traffic since the road was too narrow (parked cars) and the bus was tryna get thru so the most sensible thing to do is to give way right? A Beemer went up behind me and started beeping 🤦🏽♂️ even tho bro’s been sleeping on green lights the whole time, they just have the audacity to beep at me when I was trying to be sensible on the road
Bmw drivers be like: so thats what this stick on the left side of my wheel is for
1) Sweden has no law specifying a distance in advance you need to signal (which is a stupid idea anyway; it should be based on time since roads have different speeds, and you should be allowed to start using it at a stand still)
2) Most motorways I drive on have 3 lanes.

I use my turn signals in general. I hate how people don’t signal mostly.

the worst is when people signal AS THEY TURN.
I love this Channel so much, it’s my daily source of entertainment
I am HERE for parking far away, my car isnt even that nice and I'm still preserving it as most I can
on the crosswalk one, it's especially annoying on crosswalks that are not on intersections, theres a crosswalk right by my house that isn't on an intersection, but has warning lights and is painted, i got stuck in the middle of it the other day because nobody was stopping for me (also, this is technically a 30 zone, but people regularly do 60 on this street) seriously was worried someone was going to hit me, when i finally crossed someone yelled at me "thats not a crosswalk" lol
Imagine being so entitled that you jay walk on front of traffic and expect them to stop
Go faster

I actually follow the complete stop rule. I also do the 3 second count while in a turn lane. Thanks for that one traffic light cams...
The big problem with the passing lane/fast lane thing is that in most states it isnt written into law or taught in driving schools. I live in the northeast. As far as I know, the only state where people follow the passing lane rule is New Jersey.
Going to take my first lesson tomorrow.
Im somewhat worried.
