Band of Horses - Winnetka Music Festival - Winnetka, IL - June 14th, 2024

Hanging with some of our favorite people at Winnetka Music Festival enjoying one of my favorite bands ~ Seattle’s Band of Horses! Shorter festival-style setlist on this perfect 70° evening in Winnetka, IL. Didn’t realize until putting this post together, but this was my fifth time seeing BoH. Ben Bridwell (lead vocals), Creighton Barrett (drums) & Ryan Monroe (keyboard & guitar) still anchor the band after nearly 20 years. I was surprised to find Tyler Ramsey (guitar) & Bill Reynolds (bass) are no longer with the band. Both them and the aforementioned founding three members split in 2017. Current members Matt Gentling (bass & Archers of Loaf band member) & Brett Nash (guitar) have filled those shoes! Jordan Hicks (bass & SUSTO’s band member) filled in for Matt on this one. Loved seeing these guys again! They have a uniquely haunting sound that’s one of a kind.
