Revisiting this in 2022 is wild because i still remember seeing this drop after all the requests and the absolute RUSH of joy that came with it, and then the minor rush of seeing i think two of my comments requesting it dropped in the first few seconds of the video (idk man it just feels fun to be featured in something you're already hyperfixating on lol), and then immediately after that learning you guys had an ALBUM coming out, and then the absolutely brilliant cover itself. Hell yes. In fact, just about any of Gintama's openings and endings would be great. That series has some of the best of all time in my opinion. I'm also a huge fan of Samurai Heart (Some Like it Hot) by Spyair, SIGNAL by KELUN, and Shura by Does as well as Donten.
I watched this anime for the first time ever this year in 2024...wow it's a classic. I've never seen anything like it. It switches up from being a comedy with weird plot stuff sprinkled in that pays off later to being mostly dramatic, intense, sad...only to end up the most satisfying and romantic anime I've ever seen.
