Per rules you each HQ can deploy a Detachment during the Detachment placement segment during the Command Phase.
32:15,you have essentially split the Union army in two. The Confeds have 4 units that are just South of that gap.I would of like to see them move into it and attempt to divide the Union army.
Roscrans got surprised by superior forces after dividing his army in mountainous wooded terrain Bragg was reinforced by a corps of the army of Virginia. He was on the offensive. Roscrans was surprised and beaten. Thomas saved the army but Roscrans got fired. Grant took charge and beat Bragg opening up the south to attack and defeat in detail as Sherman was given command in 64 when Grant moved East. It was not a strategic victory but southern forces could not replace the terrible losses from the battle. The north could.
