I love the videos and patterns but I wish you would add written instructions. I had to pause and play back so many times if it was on a tape it would have broken. I think I started with a level that was just above my skill set, but I'm learning and loving it! Keep them coming and thank your for being free!!!!
I have just finished making this bracelet. I have to admit it was very challenging, more advanced I almost gave up but I perceived and it was worth it. Very pleased with the outcome.
I too ran short on one cord, and I didn't even make the clasp at the beginning. Not sure why that happens. Longer than the assigned measure is my new mantra! I love the design. Thanks :)
Beautiful, as usual. I'm looking for ideas for a cuff-like choker necklace, headbands, and a great summer necklace. I bet you could come up with a lot of ideas. Please?
One of my strings was short just after the second bead. I ran out of string. 😞 so I had to start over. For the string, you guys, there's alot of different kinds. I found that EBay and Amazon have really good string. Look for .05mm nylon cord or 1mm macramé waxed or coated string. Because I've been using 2mm nylon cord and the bracelet is huge. And I have to find bigger beads with big holes, which was difficult. But 1mm or .05 mm nylon cord or string should be fine. This is, of coarse, by MY experience.Beautiful designs btw! 😃👌🏼
Yes I had the same problem. For that I got a bead reamer to make the hole bigger n OMG it helped soooo much! I Highly recommend a bead reamer. There's a few kinds but an electric one is perfect. I'm not so sure if a battery operated one would be as strong. Hopefully this will help!
1mm or less is a right size for a bracelet. Look out at the beads when you buy them, because they have to fit with the cord. Obviously 2 mm cord is way too thick for a bead hole.!

Muito lindo seus trabalhos!!! Parabéns e muito sucesso.
As simple as it is, I love that button and you use it on many of your bracelets. Do you have a source that you order them from? I haven't found them anywhere.
+Abbey Hewitt hey girl. after doing some much hated research on line, I found some poly waxed cording we can use for the jewelry. go to easy and look under WISHsupplies. The only mm I could find close enough is .8mm. I think that would be close enough. they have a lot of colours too. good luck.
Look on Ebay for S-Lon Tex 400 or Tex 210.The Tex 400 cord is just under 1mm, the Tex 210 is just over .5mm, and they come in lots of different colors. The seller I've been buying from has free shipping and everything.(C-lon cord is the exact same thing, just slightly different colors)
OK. I give up. I'm tired of replaying five-second segments over and over and over because I can't see the cord through her hands. While the Macrame School pieces are lovely, I'm going to look elsewhere for my tutorials because I consistently have this problem. Good luck to you all. You're more patient and skilled than I am.
Begin with more simple tutorials, and when you tight a knot try to understand why it is that way : when it goes straight, when you need to made it a curl, etc. You'll need less help by understanding by yourself the technics. Actually this one is quite interesting. When I do one side, I try to do the other side by myself, following the direction of the previous knots I made. Good luck and keep doing macrame, this is fascinating :) !
Hey Judy, I feel ya. I began to do macrame only three weeks ago. I was watching a video (more simple than this) over and over again. Tieing and un-tieing, becoming very frustrated, and in the end, I gave up on that video and found something much easier. Now, just three weeks later, I found that video again and it's so simple now that I understand knots better. Stick with it, Judy! You will find a great sense of achievement when you complete beautiful bracelets (such as the one in this video, which I'm about to begin....... Wish me luck!.)

You are right I ran out of cords with some of the projects. I have been using big wood beads because the others won't fit in the cords I have.

I have got a manual bead reamer, it's time consuming. I will buy wood beads their holes are usually bigger. Or use micro macrame cords.
1mm or less is a right size for a bracelet.
