Just finished watching and just a heads up with the tpms . . . I have an icheck model and dont tow so just got the 4 sensor pack for the car and had em for about 2 years now. Just iver a week ago i left the vic high country after a week cruising around the spectacular place. I was 20mins into the 13hr drive home to adelaide and the alarm went off and it showed i was losing pressure in 1 tyre. I pulled over and it was down from 40 psi to 30 and stayed at 30 for about 5mins so i thought i would try droving a bit more. It was only when i got up to 80kmh that it started dropping again but i could watch it happening so oulled over and was going to swap to the spare but thought id try outting air back in first. Take off again and when i was up to speed again the oressure started to drop. Was going to put air in and see if i could get to a town with a tyre shop because i wasnt far away and i noticed the pressure stabilised again and when i oressed the valve stem sideways air was coming out so it wasnt a puncture but a faulty valve. Time was of the essence with a long drive ahead . . . Do i swap the spare and take 30mins and get filthy and then stop and get it repaired or is there some way to support the valve stem?? A couple of zip ties around the valve stem was perfect to support it and then drove another 12hrs back home and could watch the pressure all the way and it didnt drop at all . . . so it literally just paid for itself! Bottom line is I'd recommend tpms for the car as no 1 because by the time you feel the flat tyre you will likely have damaged the tyre and the risk of a full blowout is very high as well. Id also highly recommend the icheck ones whoch dont even need to be plugged in as they have a solar panel on top. Mine just sits on the dash in front of me. If you havent opened the ones you got id look at returning them and buying an 8 wheel model for car and caravan. You will probably need a booster antenna to get the signal all the way from the caravan as well.
Thanks for taking the time to film and edit this video to show us around 👍😊
@@Off.Track4x4 very welcome 👍
